No, and the difference is what each number is attached to. A carrier or a retailer sets a trade-in figure against the price of something new they are selling you. It is a discount on their product, so it moves with whatever they are trying to shift that month.

The iPhone 15 Pro is where Apple's Action button first appeared. It sits on the left edge, above the volume keys. That's where the mute switch used to be. Press and hold is how it works, so a quick tap does nothing. That trips up plenty of people who think theirs is broken.

Test it so the result is something you can see. Open Settings, tap Action Button, then swipe until Flashlight is selected. Press and hold the button in a dim room. Press and hold again to switch the light off.

Run the same test with the phone locked and the screen off. A button that answers only sometimes is on its way out. Check silent mode too, because mute now lives on this button by default.

This matters for your grade. A button that has stopped working grades the phone Faulty. The Action button counts, the same as the volume keys or the side button. Grit under it is the usual cause on a pocket phone.

Set the button back to Silent Mode when you're done. Then grade the phone on what the test showed you. Faulty is a real price here, and an honest grade keeps your quote intact.

Size first: 6.1 inches here, 6.7 on the Pro Max. The long lens is the bigger difference. In 2023 the two Pros carried different ones, which is rare.

Under 80 percent grades the phone Faulty. Check it in Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health and Charging. At 80 percent or above, your grade doesn't change.

Use your fingernail, not your eyes. Run it slowly along each edge and across the back. Wear you can't feel is Average. Wear you can feel is Fair. A crack or a chip is Faulty, however small.

Brushed titanium picks up fingerprints and a faint darkening at the edges. A soft cloth takes that off, and it changes nothing about your grade.
