IPHONE 14 PRO MAX PAYOUT
We pay between $110 and $525 for an iPhone 14 Pro Max. Capacity, condition, and carrier are the three selections that change the price. This model was sold from 128GB up to 1TB.
An Unlocked item pays more than a carrier locked item (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc). On this model Unlocked wins every square of the grid. T-Mobile comes next, then AT&T, then Verizon, and anything else is lowest. The gap is not the same at every grade, so set the carrier your phone is really locked to.
Your carrier calls this a trade-in, and its form asks you to describe the phone from memory. On a Pro Max memory is the problem. This phone has lived in a case since the week you bought it, so you have not really looked at the back of it in two years. A Buyback starts the other way round. We ask you to take the case off and look first. The number is the same whether you find the crack or we do. Finding it yourself is just less of a surprise.
Now the thing about this phone that decides most grades. It weighs 240 grams. Stainless steel frame, glass on the front and the back, and a 6.7 inch screen. At the time it was the heaviest iPhone Apple had ever built.
Weight decides how the phone breaks. Something this heavy does not skitter when you drop it. It lands hard, and the glass takes the hit. Most people then look at the screen, see that it is fine, and stop looking.
Take the case off and check the back properly. Lay the phone face down on a towel under a lamp. Look across the glass at a shallow angle rather than straight down at it. A hairline crack is almost invisible head-on and obvious in raking light. Do the corners, do the edges of the raised camera plateau, and drag a fingernail over each of the three lens covers.
Any crack or chip you find grades the phone Faulty. Front, back or a lens cover, it makes no difference, and there is no small crack. A cracked 128GB pays about half what the same phone pays at Fair with nothing broken on it. That is the honest gap, and it is why the two minutes are worth spending.
While the phone is face down, press each corner gently in turn. If it rocks on a flat surface the frame is bent, and a bent frame is its own Faulty rule. Heavy phones bow when they get sat on.
Nothing else about the Pro Max is complicated. Four capacities, 128GB up to 1TB. The price you accept holds for 14 days. Postage is free in both directions, we inspect within 48 hours of arrival, and we pay the same day. A sealed phone is paid through PayPal.

HOW IT WORKS
Get the case off and look across the back glass under a lamp before you choose anything. That check decides more on a Pro Max than any other. Then pick 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB, set the carrier, and choose the grade that matches what you found. Your Buyback price is then yours for 14 days.
You get a prepaid USPS label by email. Move your phone number to your new handset, erase the Pro Max, and pad the box well, because 240 grams of phone will find any gap you leave. Drop it at a post office. If you back out before payment, the phone travels home to you free.
Your iPhone 14 Pro Max is inspected by hand within 48 hours of landing, back glass included. If it matches your description the payment goes out that day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. If we find a crack you missed, you get the revised number and the final say. Every phone is wiped to Department of Defense standards regardless of what we do with it.

IPHONE 14 PRO MAX QUESTIONS
Capacity, carrier and condition set it. A 512GB in Good condition is $415. A 256GB in Average shape is $354. A 1TB with a crack in it is $134. Feed your own combination into the quote tool at the top of this page.
Take the case off first. That sounds obvious and it is the step people skip, and a case is exactly what hides a cracked back for months.
Lay the phone face down on something soft with a lamp off to one side. Now look across the glass at a shallow angle instead of straight down at it. Light skimming the surface catches hairline cracks that are invisible when you look at them head-on. Work along the two long edges, then each corner, then the raised camera plateau. Finally run a fingernail slowly over all three lens covers and listen for the catch.
While it is face down, press each corner. A phone that rocks has a bent frame, and that is a Faulty rule of its own. It happens to Pro Maxes because a 240 gram phone in a back pocket takes real force when you sit down.
Yes, at the Faulty price, and the back counts exactly the same as the front. Any crack or chip anywhere puts the phone in that row. Faulty pays $110 at 128GB, $116 at 256GB, $125 at 512GB and $134 at 1TB.
It is a bigger drop than people expect and we are not going to dress that up. Replacing the back glass on a Pro Max is one of the most expensive repairs on the phone, so the number reflects it.
If there are no cracks, the ladder is straightforward. Flawless is no marks at all. Good is wear invisible from arm's length. Average is light wear you cannot feel. Fair is heavy wear you can feel. Pick the honest one and the quote will not change when we open the box.
Three of them get confused and the prices are nowhere near each other. Count the lenses first. Two lenses means the iPhone 14 Plus, which also has a fixed notch and an aluminum frame you cannot see your face in.
Three lenses means a Pro Max. To separate this one from the iPhone 15 Pro Max, look at the left edge above the volume buttons. The 15 Pro Max has the Action button there. The 14 Pro Max still has a mute switch that flicks up and down. Pick them both up too: the 14 Pro Max is stainless steel at 240 grams and the 15 Pro Max is titanium and clearly lighter.
For a written answer, tap Model Number in Settings, General, About. A2651 is the US iPhone 14 Pro Max, and A2893, A2894, A2895 and A2896 are the same phone sold elsewhere. All of them quote on this page.
It can, and burn-in forces Faulty. The 14 Pro Max keeps a dimmed Lock Screen showing whenever the phone is idle, so the clock and the widget row sit in the same pixels for years. In a dark room, fill the screen with plain white at high brightness and look for a faint gray ghost of the clock. The full two-part test, including how to prove the ghost is in the panel rather than on the screen, is written out on the iPhone 14 Pro page, and it works identically here.
Under 80 percent it is a Faulty phone. Settings, Battery, Battery Health and Charging gives you Maximum Capacity, and a Service Battery notice on the same screen means the same grade. At 80 or above it changes nothing. The Pro Max battery is the biggest in the range, so it often holds up better than a smaller iPhone of the same age, but read the number rather than trusting how long it lasts.
Face ID that will not let you into the phone means Faulty. Lock it, lift it, look at it. If it stays shut, or the Face ID section of Settings shows an error, that is your grade. The usual culprit is a screen replaced somewhere other than Apple, and a replaced display is a separate Faulty rule in its own right.
That one we cannot buy. No power means we cannot test the screen, the cameras or the battery, and it means your accounts and photos cannot be cleared off it. We are not going to guess at a price for a phone we cannot open. We will take it for recycling at no charge, wipe it to Department of Defense standards on arrival and dispose of it properly, or send it back to you free if you would rather hold on to it.
Not while money is still owed on it. A phone on a carrier installment plan or a lease counts as being under a financial obligation, and we do not buy those. Clear the balance so the phone is genuinely yours, then it quotes here like any other iPhone 14 Pro Max.
No. A clean ESN sits behind every grade on this page, Brand New through to Faulty, and a phone that is blacklisted, reported lost or stolen, or blocked by a carrier fails that check with nothing we can do about it.
Apple Account lock is the one you can fix yourself. If the phone arrives still signed in to iCloud, Activation Lock ties it to you and we cannot buy it. Sign out before you post it and the problem is gone.
Compare the shape of the two offers, not the headline number. A carrier trade-in usually arrives as bill credit spread over 24 or 36 months, and it is tied to staying with them for the whole term. We are buying the phone outright, so the money is yours the day it clears inspection with no strings on it, paid by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check.
Which carrier the phone is locked to also changes what we pay, and by different amounts at different grades, so pick the carrier your phone is really locked to rather than guessing. The grid on this page is unlocked, where a Good 256GB is $385.
Color makes no difference to either. Space Black, Silver, Gold and Deep Purple all pay the same at every grade.
Move your number to the new phone, then back up whatever you want to keep. Sign out of iCloud next, because that is the step that turns Find My off and lifts Activation Lock. Then Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, Erase All Content and Settings, and put in your Apple Account password when it asks. That password is what actually frees the phone.
Our erase your device pages take you through it screen by screen if you want company. We run a Department of Defense grade wipe on arrival too, on every single phone, but yours should go first.
Four choices at checkout. A gift card comes by email and works out about 3 percent better than the others, because most brands add a bonus on top. PayPal is instant and PayPal charges its own 2.99 percent fee. A bank transfer takes 2 to 4 days. A check takes 3 to 5.
Payment leaves the same day your iPhone 14 Pro Max clears inspection, and that inspection happens within 48 hours of it arriving. One exception: a Brand New sealed phone is paid through PayPal only.
Case off, check the back glass, then pick your capacity, carrier and grade. The price holds for 14 days.
