We pay between $59 and $308 for an iPhone 14 Plus. Capacity, condition, and carrier are the three selections that change the price. That is the whole list.
An Unlocked item pays more than a carrier locked item (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc). Unlocked is the highest price in all eighteen squares of the grid. AT&T and T-Mobile pay exactly the same as each other, one step below it. Verizon comes in under both, and anything else is lowest of all.
Most people call this a trade-in. We call it a Buyback, and the difference shows up in what you get asked. Their form asks two questions: does it turn on, and is the screen cracked. Neither one finds a dead earpiece or a Face ID sensor that has quit. This page asks about both, because we are buying the working phone rather than estimating one. That is also why the tests below are short and specific. We would rather hand you a checklist than a guess.
Look at the top of the screen. A wide black tab hangs down from the top edge and stays there. It never moves, never shrinks, and never wraps itself around anything. That is called a notch, and the iPhone 14 Plus is the last big iPhone Apple built with one.
Start a timer or play a song and watch that area. On a 14 Plus nothing happens up there. On an iPhone 15 Plus the black shape pulls away from the top edge, floats as a pill, and stretches out to show what is playing. That is called the Dynamic Island. It is the fastest way to tell the two apart. They are both 6.7 inch phones with two lenses on the back, and people mix them up constantly.
That strip of hardware matters for more than naming. Behind the notch sit the earpiece speaker, a microphone and the Face ID camera array. Any audio fault sends the phone to Faulty, whether it is the ear speaker, the loudspeaker or the mic. Face ID that has stopped working does the same.
Test all three in under a minute. Call someone and hold the phone to your ear. Record a five second voice memo and play it back. Lock the screen, pick the phone up and look at it. If any of that fails, the honest grade is Faulty, and Faulty still pays a real number here.
Wear on the aluminum edge is only wear. Marks on the back glass are only marks. Nothing you find there changes anything except which of the six rows you pick.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose 128GB, 256GB or 512GB, then your carrier, then a grade. Run the notch tests first, a call, a voice memo and a look at the lock screen, and check Maximum Capacity in the Battery settings. Those four checks are what separate a Good iPhone 14 Plus from a Faulty one. Your number is then fixed for 14 days.
We email a prepaid USPS label the moment you accept. Shift your phone number over to the new handset, erase the 14 Plus, and pack it so the 6.7 inch screen is not resting against anything hard. Hand it over at any post office. If you decide against selling at any point before we pay, the phone comes home to you free.
Somebody unboxes your iPhone 14 Plus and grades it by hand within 48 hours of arrival. IPHONE 14 PLUS QUESTIONS
Storage first, then carrier, then how the phone looks. A 256GB in Good condition is $235. The same phone in Fair, meaning wear you can feel with a fingernail, is $141. A 512GB with a smashed screen is $77. Put your own combination through the quote tool at the top for the exact number.
No, and on this phone the gap is easy to see. A carrier's offer is a discount mechanism. It only exists while you are buying a new handset from them, it arrives as bill credit spread over 24 or 36 months, and it stops if you leave.
A Buyback has none of that shape. We buy the iPhone 14 Plus outright and pay by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. That matters more here than on most models. The Plus has the biggest battery Apple put in a non-Pro iPhone that year, and a phone like that often gets kept as a spare rather than replaced. If you are selling one you were never going to replace, an offer tied to buying something is worth nothing to you.
Watch the black shape at the top of the screen while music plays or a timer counts down. On the iPhone 14 Plus it does nothing at all, because it is a fixed notch joined to the top edge. On the iPhone 15 Plus it lifts away from the edge and grows into a pill that shows the timer. Apple calls that the Dynamic Island, and no iPhone 14 Plus has one.
If you would rather read it than watch it, tap Model Number in Settings, General, About. A2632 is the US iPhone 14 Plus. A2885, A2886, A2887 and A2888 are the same phone sold in other regions and they all quote here. Anything else and you probably want the iPhone 15 Plus page instead.
Count the lenses. Two means iPhone 14 Plus. Three means iPhone 14 Pro Max. Both are 6.7 inches, so size will not help you here.
The other giveaway is the top of the screen again. The Pro Max was one of the two phones the Dynamic Island launched on, so it has the floating pill. The Plus has the notch. And the Pro Max has a stainless steel band around the edge that looks like a mirror, where the Plus has matte aluminum. The Pro Max is worth quite a bit more, so it is worth thirty seconds to be sure.
Any audio fault grades the phone Faulty. That covers the earpiece you hold to your head, the loudspeaker at the bottom, and the microphones. It is one of our firmest rules and there is no partial version of it.
Test it properly rather than guessing. Call somebody and listen through the earpiece. Play music without headphones and listen to the loudspeaker. Record a voice memo, then play it back and check you can hear yourself clearly. Crackle, silence or a voice that comes out muffled all mean Faulty.
A lot of people find this out at inspection instead, which is a waste of everyone's time, because we buy Faulty phones anyway. Pick the honest grade and the quoted number is the number you get.
Then it is a Faulty phone, however clean it looks. Lock it, lift it and look at it. If it will not unlock, or Settings shows an error where Face ID should be, that is your grade. The camera array behind the notch is the part that fails, usually after a screen has been replaced somewhere that is not Apple. A replaced display is its own separate Faulty rule, so a cheap repair can trip two at once.
Yes. Cracks and chips grade the phone Faulty wherever they are, front glass, back glass or the covers over the lenses. Size does not come into it and neither does whether it still works. Faulty pays $59 at 128GB, $71 at 256GB and $77 at 512GB.
A 6.7 inch phone takes the corner of a table harder than a small one does, so this is a common ending for a 14 Plus. It is still money rather than a shrug.
It does once it drops under 80 percent. Open Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health and Charging, and read Maximum Capacity. From 80 upward your grade is untouched. Under 80, or if that screen is showing a Service Battery warning, the phone becomes Faulty no matter how good it looks from the outside. The Plus has the biggest battery Apple put in a non-Pro iPhone that year, so plenty of them are still above the line. Check before you pick.
Average is light wear you cannot feel. Run a fingernail across the back and the screen. If it catches on nothing, but you can see faint marks in the light, that is Average.
One step up, Good is wear you cannot even see from arm's length. Flawless means no marks anywhere. One step down, Fair is heavy wear your fingernail does catch on, with no cracks or chips. Any crack at all and it is Faulty instead.
Nobody is trying to catch you out. A person inspects the phone by hand and compares it to what you told us, so describing it plainly is the fastest route to being paid.
No, and here is the honest reason. If it will not power up we cannot run a single test on it, and we cannot clear your accounts and photos off it either. Paying for a sealed box of unknowns is not something we are willing to do. What we will do is take it off your hands for nothing: send it on a free label and we recycle it properly, wiping it to Department of Defense standards first. Want it back instead? Say so and it ships back free.
Not yet. While there are payments left on a carrier installment plan or a lease, the phone is under a financial obligation and we cannot purchase it. There is no way around that, and it is not a credit check on you. Finish the payments, then come back and it quotes exactly like any other iPhone 14 Plus.
No. A clean ESN is a requirement at every single grade, right down to Faulty. Blacklisted, reported lost, reported stolen or blocked by a carrier all fail that test, and there is nothing we can do at our end to clear it.
Apple Account lock is separate and it is on you to sort out. A phone that arrives still signed in to iCloud cannot be bought, because it is locked to somebody else. Sign out before you post it and that problem disappears.
It does. Unlocked, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon iPhone 14 Plus handsets are each quoted on their own, and the difference is not a fixed amount, so pick the right one rather than assuming. This page shows the unlocked prices, where an Average 128GB is $179.
What your carrier offers is a different animal. They apply the value to a new phone as monthly bill credit, usually over 24 or 36 months, and it evaporates if you leave. Ours is a purchase. The money is yours and it is not attached to anything. Color plays no part on either side. Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple, Yellow and (PRODUCT)RED all pay the same.
Get your number onto your new phone first, then back up anything you want to keep. Now sign out of iCloud, which is the step that turns Find My off and lifts Activation Lock. Then Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, Erase All Content and Settings, and enter your Apple Account password when it asks.
