PIXEL 10 PRO BUYBACK

A carrier will call this a trade-in. We call it a Buyback, and the reason we bother with the distinction is that a Buyback comes with things a trade-in does not: a Department of Defense wipe, tracking end to end, a written account of what we found, and a free return if you would rather have the phone back.
Start by making sure you are on the right page, because the Pixel 10 Pro and the plain Pixel 10 are both 6.3 inch phones with three cameras and they are easy to mix up. The fastest tell is the color. Google sold the Pro in Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain and Obsidian. It sold the Pixel 10 in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass and Obsidian. Only Obsidian is shared, so unless yours is black you already have your answer.
If it is black, open Settings and tap About phone. The Model line reads G4QUR on a Pro. That code is on the box too, and nowhere on the phone itself, which surprises people coming from iPhones where the number is etched into the case. While you are in Settings, check the storage. Google sold the Pixel 10 Pro in four sizes, 128GB through 1TB, and it is the only Pixel 10 that goes the whole span. Anything above 256GB rules the base model out on its own.
Then the condition, which moves the number more than anything else. Any crack or chip, on the screen, the back or over a lens, grades the phone Faulty. So does burn-in on the panel. And on an Android phone the governing rule is broader than the one iPhone sellers are used to: it is not a checklist, it is a principle. If something on the phone does not work, the phone is Faulty.
We buy used Pixel 10 Pros in any of those states, and broken ones are still worth mailing in, because Faulty is a price rather than a door closing. The label is free, the return is free, and a phone that will not power on gets free recycling instead of a quote, since we cannot test it or wipe your data off it.

HOW IT WORKS
Check Settings, About phone for the model and the storage first, then pick your capacity, your carrier and your condition. The Buyback price you accept holds for 14 days, so the number cannot move under you while the phone is in transit.
We email a prepaid USPS label. Take your Google account off the phone and factory reset it before it goes in the box, because factory reset protection will otherwise lock it to you and we will have to mail it straight back. Keep the cable, the case and the box, none of them add to the price.
One of our team checks the phone by hand within 48 hours of arrival and writes down what they find. Match the description and payment goes the same day, by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every phone is wiped to Department of Defense standards either way.

PIXEL 10 PRO BUYBACK QUESTIONS
Take a 256GB as the example. With light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail it is $347. Tidier than that and it is $385. Cracked, or with something on it that has stopped working, it is $77. Your exact figure is a minute away at the top of this page.
Look at the color first, because it settles it in a second. The Pro came in Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain and Obsidian. The Pixel 10 came in Indigo, Frost, Lemongrass and Obsidian. Obsidian is the only overlap, so a green, cream or pale gray phone is a Pro and a blue, white or yellow one is not.
If yours is black, storage decides it. Google only sold the plain Pixel 10 in 128GB and 256GB, so a 512GB or 1TB reading in Settings means you are holding a Pro. Failing that, Settings, About phone, Model reads G4QUR on a Pro and GLBW0 on a Pixel 10.
Color does not change what either one is worth, by the way. It just tells you which page you should be quoting on, and that does change what you are paid.
Not on the phone. Google does not print or etch a model code anywhere on a Pixel, which trips up anyone used to turning an iPhone over and reading the A number off the back. The code lives in two places instead: printed on the retail box, and in Settings, About phone, on the Model line. For a US Pixel 10 Pro it reads G4QUR. Checking it takes ten seconds and it is the only way to be certain which phone you have.
It does, and by more than people expect on this model, because it is the one Pixel 10 sold in four sizes. At the same condition a 128GB is $335 and a 1TB is $435. If you are not sure which you have, Settings, Storage tells you. Do not go by what you think you bought, because a phone reporting less free space than expected is normal and the total is what counts.
Yes. Cracks and chips grade the phone Faulty, and that includes the glass over the camera bar, which sits proud of the back and takes the hit first when a phone lands face up. Faulty is a price rather than a rejection: a 128GB in that state is $67 and a 512GB is $82.
Run a fingernail across each of the three lens covers before you decide. A scratch glides under the nail. A chip catches. A chip is broken glass and it grades Faulty even though every camera still takes a perfect photo.
It does, and it takes the phone to Faulty on its own. Every Pixel has an OLED screen, and an OLED that has shown the same clock and the same navigation pill in the same place for a few years can keep a faint permanent shadow of them. Quick version of the check: brightness up, dim room, a plain white screen, and look for a ghost. It does not. There is no 80 percent rule on a Pixel, no threshold of any kind, and no battery health screen we are going to send you looking for. That rule belongs to iPhones and it does not travel. A Pixel 10 Pro whose battery no longer lasts the day it once did quotes exactly the same as one that does. The only exception is a battery that has genuinely failed, which is caught by the same rule as any other part that has stopped working.
You can, and it grades Faulty. There is no list of qualifying faults on an Android phone, which is the single biggest difference from the iPhone rules. If something on the phone does not work, the phone is Faulty, full stop. Run through it quickly: tap 0.5x, 1x and 5x in the camera app and check each one gives you a genuinely different view rather than a crop, press every button, ring the phone, record a voice memo and play it back, and plug it in. A 256GB that fails any of those is $77 rather than $347. Tell us and the quote is honest from the start.
Keep all three. Accessories are not priced into a Pixel quote, so a cable, a Pixelsnap charger, a case or the original box adds nothing to what you are paid and only gives things a chance to go missing in the mail. Send the phone on its own. A SIM card should come out too, since we do not need it and you probably do.
Not for a payment. Without power we cannot test the phone, so any number we gave you would be a guess, and we cannot clear your data off it either, which is the part that actually matters. Free recycling is what we offer instead. Mail it on a free label, we run a Department of Defense wipe and dispose of it responsibly. Prefer it back? That return is free as well.
No, not until the balance is cleared. A phone on a carrier installment plan or a lease is under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Settle it with your carrier, wait for the account to show the phone as yours, and then come back. Nothing else about the quote changes.
Neither one, and they fail for different reasons.
A Google account lock, sometimes called factory reset protection or FRP, means the phone is still tied to your account after a reset. Nobody else can get past the setup screen, so there is nothing we can do with it. The fix is entirely in your hands: remove the account in Settings, then factory reset.
A blocked IMEI is out of your hands and out of ours. If the phone has been reported lost or stolen, or a carrier has blocked it over an unpaid bill, it cannot be resold and we have to return it. Check the IMEI in Settings, About phone before you mail anything.
Yes, and it is not close. A 1TB in Good condition is $435 unlocked against $310 on AT&T, with T-Mobile, Verizon and Other stepping down from there. Unlocked tops every carrier at every capacity and every condition on this model. If the phone is paid off, ask your carrier to unlock it before you quote. The wait is usually a day or two and it is worth more than tidying the phone up.
Do it in this order. Settings, Passwords and accounts, tap your Google account, then Remove account. That is the step that switches off factory reset protection, and skipping it is the commonest reason a phone gets mailed back. Then Settings, System, Reset options, Erase all data (factory reset). Your photos, messages and saved passwords are erased and they cannot be recovered. Our erase your device page has the whole thing written out. We wipe it again to Department of Defense standards when it lands, but that is a second pass, not a substitute.
Four options, chosen when you accept the quote. Gift cards pay roughly 3 percent above the cash methods because the brands add a bonus on top, and they arrive by email. PayPal is instant, minus PayPal's own 2.99 percent fee. Bank transfer is 2 to 4 days. A check in the mail is 3 to 5.
