Open the camera app and switch to the front lens five times in a row. You are watching for four things: it rises smoothly in around a second, it sits level rather than tilted, it retracts by itself when you close the app, and it does it quietly. Grinding, sticking, hesitating or needing help from your fingernail all mean the mechanism has failed, and a failed mechanism is a functionality issue, which grades Faulty.

Yes, and it is worth saying plainly that a crack does not get you turned away. It moves the phone to Faulty, which is a row on this page with a real number in it: $5 on a 256GB and $3 on a 128GB. The rule covers chips as well as cracks, and it covers the back and the camera lens covers, not only the screen.
It does. A chip is a chip wherever it sits, and the curve at the long edges is where they usually start on this model because that is the part that meets the floor first. Run a fingernail down both edges. If it catches on something rather than gliding over it, look closely in a bright light, because that is often a chip rather than a scratch, and a chip grades Faulty.
Light wear that you would not notice holding the phone at arm's length. Average means light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail. Fair means heavy wear you can feel, with no cracks or chips anywhere. Flawless means no marks at all. The moment a crack or a chip appears, or something on the phone stops working, none of that applies and the grade is Faulty.
No, not on its own. There is no battery percentage rule on any Android phone we buy, so nobody is going to ask you for a health reading and there is no menu on a OnePlus 7 Pro we want you to hunt for. Six years of charging cycles is expected. It only matters when the battery has genuinely quit, meaning the phone shuts down at a high percentage or cannot run off the battery at all, and then it is Faulty like any other broken part.
Probably, and this panel can do it. The usual suspects are the on-screen navigation bar and the clock. Put a plain white image on the screen at full brightness and tilt it in the light. If you can still make out a shape that is not there, the panel has burn-in and the phone grades Faulty. A phone that looks perfect with the screen off can still fail this one, which is why it is worth checking now rather than after you post it.
