IPHONE 11 PRO PAYOUTS

It is still money for something that has stopped earning its shelf space, and you can have the number in about a minute.
One thing on this phone can cut that figure in half on its own, and it is not a scratch. The iPhone 11 Pro has an OLED screen.
Screen burn-in forces Faulty in our grading, with no exceptions and no partial credit. It happens because every pixel in an OLED panel makes its own light and wears out at its own pace. Anything that sits in the same place at the same brightness for years, the status bar, the keyboard, a game's on screen buttons, the row of app icons in the dock, ages those pixels faster than the ones around them. What is left behind is a faint permanent shadow of the interface. This was Apple's brightest phone screen when it launched, and it has now had five or six years to do exactly that.
Find out before you quote, because it takes a minute. Go somewhere dim. Open a photo that is solid mid gray, or a blank note if that is quicker, and turn the brightness all the way up. Hold the phone still and look through the picture rather than at it. Burn-in shows up as a dull ghost of a shape that should not be there: a band across the top where the clock and battery live, a rectangle where the keyboard sits, a faint grid in the lower half. Tilt it slowly. Gray gives it away more readily than white, which is why it is worth loading gray rather than opening Notes.
If you find one, say so in the quote, because the difference is real money and it is better known now than argued about later. Burn-in puts the phone in Faulty, and on a 256GB that is a drop of about two thirds off the Good price. Both figures sit in the table below. If you find nothing, which is the more common outcome, grade it on wear alone and ignore this entirely.
It is worth knowing this rule is not universal across the family. The iPhone 11 has an LCD, and an LCD cannot burn in at all, so owners of the cheaper phone can skip the whole subject. The iPhone 11 Pro Max uses the same OLED technology as this one and carries the same risk on a larger panel. Same year, same chip, and the screen is what splits them.
Here is something a carrier counter has no reason to tell you, so we will. If your iPhone 11 Pro is paid off and still locked to a network, ask that network to unlock it before you sell it to anybody. The request is usually free and usually takes a day or two, and it is worth more than any amount of cleaning and polishing. Unlocked pays the top price in every row of the table below. A locked phone comes in somewhere between a fifth and two fifths under it, depending on the network and the grade, with AT&T closest and T-Mobile furthest away. That is the plainest difference between a Buyback and an offer made to you while you are busy buying something else: we are here to buy the phone, so we are glad to wait a week while you make it worth more.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose 64GB, 256GB or 512GB, say whether it is unlocked or locked to a network, and pick the grade. Do the gray screen check first and the battery reading second, in Settings, Battery, Battery Health and Charging. Those two together decide the grade far more often than scuffs do. Your Buyback price is then held for 14 days.
We email a prepaid USPS label straight after you accept. Before it goes in the box, sign out of iCloud and erase the phone, or it will arrive locked and we will have to send it back. Leave the charger, the cable and the original box at home. They add nothing to the offer.
Your iPhone 11 Pro is checked within 48 hours of reaching us, screen included. Assuming it matches your description, payment goes out that same day as a gift card, a PayPal transfer, a bank deposit or a check. Every handset we take in is wiped to Department of Defense standards, including the ones we end up recycling.

IPHONE 11 PRO QUESTIONS
Storage, network lock and condition decide it. An unlocked 512GB in Flawless condition is $141. A 256GB with everyday wear, graded Average, is $87. A 64GB with a cracked back still pays $21. The quote tool at the top gives you your exact combination.
Somewhere dim, with the brightness turned all the way up, put a solid mid gray image on the screen. A gray photo works better than a white note here, because gray is where uneven wear shows itself soonest.
Then look for shapes that have no business being there. A faint band across the top is the status bar, the clock and the battery icon burned in. A rectangle in the bottom half is the keyboard. A row of soft squares near the base is the dock. Tilt the phone slowly while you look, because a ghost stays put while reflections move.
Two things people mistake for burn-in and should not. A single stuck or dead pixel is not it. Neither is a slight color shift when you view the screen from a sharp angle, which every OLED does when new. Burn-in is a shape, and it is always a shape you recognize.
It does, and there is no middle grade for it. Burn-in sits in the same list as a cracked screen and a battery under 80 percent: any one of them puts the phone in Faulty however good the rest of it is. The cost is easy to see. A 256GB iPhone 11 Pro in Good condition is $100 and the same phone with a ghosted panel is $30.
There is no benefit to leaving it out of the quote. Every phone gets its screen inspected here, so an undeclared ghost turns into a revised offer and a delay. Declared up front, it is the price you agreed to.
Count the rear cameras. Three lenses in a square glass bump is the iPhone 11 Pro. Two lenses in a vertical strip is the iPhone XS, which has its own page and its own prices. Both are 5.8 inch OLED phones with stainless steel bands, so the screen will not help you here. The back will: the 11 Pro's glass is frosted and matte, the XS is glossy. Midnight green is also an 11 Pro color that the XS never came in.
Size is the whole difference. The Pro is 5.8 inches and the iPhone 11 Pro Max is 6.5 inches, which you can feel instantly if you have ever held both. Everything else matches: three cameras, matte back, stainless band, same four colors, same chip. If the phone is not in front of you, check the model number. A2160 is the US Pro and A2161 is the US Pro Max. The Max is worth noticeably more, so it is worth getting right.
Yes. Cracks and chips grade the phone Faulty, and Faulty carries a genuine price: $30 on a 256GB, $38 on a 512GB. Select Faulty when you quote and that is the figure you get paid. The frosted back on this model chips at the corners more than it cracks across the middle, so run a finger around the edges before deciding. The only version we cannot take is one damaged badly enough that the screen shows nothing at all, since we then have no way to test it or clear your data.
Scuffing is wear, not damage, so it grades on the normal scale. Flawless means no marks at all. Good means light wear you cannot pick out at arm's length. Average means light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail. Fair means heavy wear that you can feel.
The matte finish on the 11 Pro polishes to a shine where it rubs, usually a patch in the middle of the back or a ring where a case sat. That looks worse than it is and is almost always Good or Average. What moves you out of the wear scale entirely is a crack or a chip, which is Faulty no matter how small.
Under 80 percent is Faulty, and we still buy the phone. Look it up before you pick a grade: Settings, Battery, Battery Health and Charging, then read Maximum Capacity. Anything from 80 upwards leaves the grade alone. A message telling you the battery needs servicing is Faulty as well. On a phone this old the battery is the single most likely thing to decide your grade, so check it before the screen and before the scratches.
Face ID that fails to set up or refuses to recognize you makes the phone Faulty. It is worth testing properly rather than assuming, because a smudged front camera area fools people. Open Settings, Face ID and Passcode, tap Reset Face ID and enroll again. Complete it and you are fine. If it errors out or the sensor is reported as unavailable, choose Faulty and take the bottom row price.
Not for a payment. A phone that stays dark cannot be powered up, cannot be tested and cannot have your data removed from it, and paying for something we cannot verify or clear is not a risk we take. Try a different cable and a mains adapter for a solid half hour first, because an utterly flat battery on a 2019 phone can take a long while to show the charging screen. If it is genuinely dead, mail it in and we will recycle it free of charge, or return it to you free of charge, whichever you ask for.
A carrier trade-in is the offer AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile puts in front of you when you buy your next phone. It is usually paid as bill credit, spread over 24 or 36 months, and it only holds if you stay on that plan for the whole term. A Buyback is money for the phone itself. You pick a grade, we check the phone by hand within 48 hours of it arriving, and payment goes out that same day as a gift card, a PayPal transfer, a bank deposit or a check. Get both numbers before you decide, and compare the cash total rather than the headline.
Your carrier also changes what we pay, and the gap is large on this model. Unlocked is the top price in every row of the table. Locked phones on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile each quote separately and each quote lower, in some tiers by a third. A Good 512GB unlocked is $125 while the same phone tied to a network sits well below that.
Color is one thing that does not move the number. Midnight green, space gray, silver and gold all pay the same at every grade, so do not hold a phone back on the strength of its finish. If the phone is paid off, ask the carrier to unlock it before you sell. That normally costs nothing and takes a day or two, and on an iPhone 11 Pro it is worth more than any amount of cleaning and polishing.

No. A clean ESN is a condition of every grade we offer, Faulty included. Anything reported lost or stolen, barred by a carrier, or still tied to somebody's Apple Account fails at inspection and has to go back. Two different problems live in that sentence. The account lock you can clear yourself in a few minutes by signing out and erasing. A blacklisted IMEI you cannot clear at all, so if this phone came to you secondhand, get the IMEI checked before you post it.
Save whatever you want to keep, then go to Settings, tap your name, scroll down and sign out. Signing out is what releases Find My. Next, Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPhone, Erase All Content and Settings, and enter your Apple Account password when it asks. A Department of Defense grade wipe runs here as well when the phone lands, but that is a second pass and not a substitute for yours.
