Pick up your Apple Pencil before you choose a grade.
This is the generation where the Pencil learned to hover. Hold the tip about half an inch off the glass and the screen previews your mark before the tip touches down. The 2022 Pros were the first iPads that could do it and no software update ever gave it to the iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation), because that hardware cannot. So hover answers the which-one-is-this question in two seconds, and it costs you nothing to try.
It is also a quick read on the screen. An aftermarket or replaced display grades Faulty here no matter how clean it looks, and Pencil features are usually the first thing that stops working on a third-party panel. If the Pencil clips to the right edge and charges, but no preview ever appears, find out whether that screen has been off before you pick a grade. A guess costs you the difference at inspection.
Where to sell a used iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) matters less than whether the quote survives inspection. Ours holds for 14 days and only moves if the tablet is not what you described. You can sell a working one and you can sell a broken one, and both get a real figure rather than a shrug.

HOW IT WORKS
Read the A-number off the back, then pick your storage from 128GB up to 2TB, say WiFi or WiFi + Cellular, and choose the grade that honestly matches the wear. The Buyback price on screen is the amount we pay, and it is held for 14 days once you place the order.
A prepaid USPS label arrives by email. Sign out of iCloud so Activation Lock lets go, erase the iPad, then lift it out of the keyboard case and send the tablet on its own. Pencils, keyboards, cases and chargers cannot be paid for.
We inspect within 48 hours of the box landing. If the Pro is what you told us it was, payment goes out that same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every tablet gets a DoD-grade wipe on arrival, including the ones we recycle instead of buy.

GOOD TO KNOW
Storage and condition, and nothing else. A 128GB graded Good pays $315. The same grade at 512GB pays $390. A 2TB with no marks on it at all is Flawless, and that pays $555. All thirty WiFi prices are in the table above, and the quote box at the top of the page gives you your exact one.
The two look identical, so read the back. A2759, A2761, A2435 and A2762 are this page. A2377, A2459, A2301 and A2460 are the iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation), which is a separate product here with its own prices. Bigger tablet in your hands? That is the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation). The 11-inch fits inside a sheet of letter paper. The 12.9-inch hangs over the edge of it.
Check three things in order. First, that it really is an M2 iPad Pro, because the 2021 model cannot hover at all. Second, that the Pencil is the 2nd generation or the USB-C one and is paired, which it will be if it charges on the magnetic strip along the right edge. Third, that the display has never been replaced. A replaced display is an automatic Faulty for us, and Apple Pencil features are what usually breaks on a third-party panel. Hover on its own is not a grading rule. What it might be telling you about the screen is.
Yes, at the Faulty price. A crack does not get the tablet refused, it moves it into the bottom row. Faulty on a 128GB is $63 and on a 2TB it is $103. Any crack or chip counts, anywhere, and the one people forget is the small piece of glass over the rear cameras. Choose Faulty in the quote and post it in.
Face ID that no longer recognizes you drops the iPad to Faulty. There is no Touch ID on this Pro to fall back on, so the front sensor array is the whole of it. Test it by locking the tablet and looking at it straight on from about a foot away. If it will not open, pick Faulty and you still get an offer.
Then it is Faulty, and so is any tablet showing a Service Battery message. At 80 percent or higher, battery wear changes nothing about your grade.
Settings, then Battery, shows you the health figure on current software. Older software gives no percentage at all. In that case go by stamina. A Pro that cannot get through a working day away from a charger, or that switches itself off with 20 or 30 percent still on the indicator, is under the line.
It does, and cellular is the one that pays more. Measured across all thirty pairs, the gap depends only on the grade and is identical at every storage size: 33 dollars on a sealed one, 30 at Flawless and at Good, 28 at Average, 18 at Fair and 6 at Faulty. A 128GB Good is $315 on WiFi and $345 with cellular. There is no carrier lock on an iPad, so an AT&T or Verizon unit is worth the same as any other cellular one. If you are not sure which you have, open Settings and look for a Cellular Data section. No section means WiFi.
On a cellular model, yes. A missing or damaged SIM tray forces Faulty, same as a crack does. WiFi models were never built with a tray, so the rule cannot touch them and there is nothing for you to check. Look at the right edge: a thin oval outline with a pinhole is the tray.
Not for money. A dead tablet cannot be tested, and your files cannot be taken off it, and we will not skip that second part. Send it in anyway and we will recycle it for free or mail it back to you for free, your call. Recycled tablets still get the DoD-grade wipe.
Not while the payments are running. A tablet on an installment plan or a lease is a device under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase those. Settle it with whoever holds the agreement and it quotes like any other iPad Pro.
No, and there are two separate hurdles rather than one. Activation Lock has to be off, and that applies to every iPad Pro here, WiFi or Cellular. You clear it by signing out of iCloud and erasing the tablet. Then, on cellular models only, the IMEI has to come back clean, so anything reported lost or stolen or blocked by a carrier fails. A WiFi Pro has no IMEI, so it only has the first hurdle.
They pay in different currencies, so compare what you end up holding. An Apple trade-in returns credit toward a new purchase or an Apple Gift Card, and it has to be spent with Apple. A Buyback here is money, sent by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check, and you can do anything you like with it.
Condition is the other half of it. A cracked tablet or one with a replaced screen is usually recycled rather than paid for on a trade-in. Here Faulty is a row in the table with real numbers in it, from $63 at 128GB. Color, for the record, changes nothing on either side: Silver and Space Gray pay the same to the penny.
Keep them. The quote is for the tablet by itself, so a Pencil, a Magic Keyboard, a Smart Folio or a charger adds nothing to it, and once they are in the box we have no way of getting them back to you. Slide the Pro out of its case and send it bare.
Back it up, then open Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPad and tap Erase All Content and Settings. That single step wipes your data, signs you out of iCloud and releases Activation Lock in one go. Our device erasure guides show it screen by screen. We run our own DoD-grade wipe when the tablet reaches us, but do yours first so Activation Lock is off on arrival.
Four ways. A gift card is emailed and lands about 3 percent above the cash figure, because the brands add a bonus on top. PayPal is instant and PayPal takes its 2.99 percent fee. A bank transfer is 2 to 4 days and a check is 3 to 5. Whichever you pick, it goes out the same day your Pro passes inspection, and inspection happens within 48 hours of arrival.
