IPAD AIR 4 BUYBACK
A used iPad Air 4 is worth between $24 and $193, depending on storage, connectivity and condition. Apple and the carriers would call that a trade-in, and they hand it back as credit. We call ours a Buyback, because we buy the tablet outright and pay you in real money.
We wipe every device to Department of Defense standards. Your photos, messages, and saved passwords are erased. They can't be recovered.
We scan your iPad when it arrives, again at inspection, and again on its way out. We always know where it is.
Don't want the offer? Say so, and the iPad comes home to you free.
HOW IT WORKS
Choose your storage, then WiFi or Cellular, then the grade that matches the wear. The Buyback price you accept is locked for 14 days. It won't move while the iPad is in the mail.
Your prepaid USPS label arrives by email. Erase the iPad, then wrap it so nothing sits against the glass. Hand it in at any post office. Shipping is free both ways. Change your mind and want it back, and that trip is free too.
A person checks your iPad Air 4 by hand, within 48 hours of it reaching us. If it matches your description, we send the money that day. We pay via gift card, PayPal, bank transfer, or check. If we find something you missed, we'll tell you what we found and what it changes.

SPEC SHEET
The iPad Air 4 shipped on its own in October 2020. The iPad Air 3 before it has a round Home button and a Lightning port. The iPad Air 5 after it looks almost the same from the front. Two quick tells. Open Settings, General, About and read the model number, because A2316 and A2324 are Air 4 only. Or look at the color, because green, rose gold and sky blue never shipped on an Air 5.

IPAD AIR 4 QUESTIONS
Three things set it. Storage, whether you have Cellular, and how worn the tablet is. The grid on this page covers every WiFi combination, and the quote tool prices yours in about a minute.
They're different things. A trade-in is credit. Apple or a carrier takes the iPad against a new purchase, and the value comes back as money you can only spend with them.
A Buyback is cash for the tablet, with nothing attached. We pay via gift card, PayPal, bank transfer, or check, and you never have to buy anything from us.
On this page, first of all. Apple, a kiosk and a marketplace listing are all options too. Get your Buyback price from the quote tool, then compare it with theirs before you commit.
This is the Air that switched to USB-C and dropped the headphone jack. One port now handles charging, data and wired audio. The speakers handle everything else, so two small parts carry a lot.
Test the port first. Plug in a charger and look for the charging icon on the battery. Then move the cable slowly inside the socket while it charges. A port that only holds at one angle is failing.
Now test the audio in one go. Open Voice Memos, record ten seconds of yourself talking, then play it back at full volume. That tests the mic and both speakers at once.
Any audio fault grades the iPad Faulty. A crackling speaker counts, a silent one counts, and so does a mic nobody can hear. Faulty is still a real price, so pick it and we'll pay it.
The port is a different story. Once it stops charging, the iPad stops turning on, and we can't buy a tablet that won't power on. We can't test it or clear your data. Send it in and we'll recycle it free, or post it back to you free.
Yes. Cracks and chips grade the tablet Faulty, wherever they are. That includes the camera lens cover on the back. If yours is Cellular, a missing or damaged SIM tray does the same.
Faulty is a price on this page, not a refusal. We buy plenty of them.
Not this one. A dead tablet can't be tested and your data can't be cleared, so we won't put a price on it. We'll recycle it free, or mail it back to you free. Your call.
Under 80 percent grades the iPad Faulty. Settings, then Battery, shows you the health figure on current software. Older software doesn't show a figure at all.
If yours doesn't, judge it by behaviour. Charge to 100 percent, then read for an hour and check what's left. Big drops, heat on the cable, or a shutdown with charge still showing all point the same way. Grade it Faulty.
At 80 percent or above, the battery changes nothing about your grade.
Early. Prices slide fastest in the weeks after Apple announces a new iPad, and this one is five years old already.
Waiting has a second cost. The battery keeps ageing in the drawer, and a battery under 80 percent drops the tablet to Faulty.
We quote the two separately, so choose the one you own and the tool shows your number.
Check which you have in Settings, General, About. Cellular models list a Cellular Data line and an IMEI. WiFi models list neither.
A carrier will quote you on this iPad too, usually as bill credit. Ours is $72 for a Fair 64GB on WiFi, paid in cash the day we finish checking it.
No. We don't purchase devices under financial obligations. If the iPad sits on an installment plan or a lease, settle it first and we'll quote it like any other.
No, and there are two checks to pass on a tablet, not one.
The first is Activation Lock, and it applies to every iPad Air 4. WiFi or Cellular makes no difference here. Sign out of iCloud on the tablet before you post it and the lock comes off.
The second is the IMEI, and it only applies to Cellular models. A WiFi iPad Air 4 has no IMEI, so there's nothing to clear. On a Cellular one, a blocked IMEI or a lost and stolen report stops the sale. Worth checking with your carrier now rather than hearing it from us later.
By touch, not by opinion. Hold the tablet at arm's length in daylight. Marks you can't see from there are Good.
Now run a fingernail across the back and the edges. Marks you can see but can't feel are Average. Marks your nail catches on are Fair.
Any crack or chip skips all of that and grades it Faulty. So does a bent frame, an engraving, or a screen someone has replaced.
Please don't. The quote covers the iPad Air 4 by itself, and accessories are not priced into it. A 2nd generation Apple Pencil, a Magic Keyboard, a Smart Folio or the charger adds nothing to the offer.
We can't pay for them and we can't guarantee they come back. Keep them for your next tablet, or sell them on their own.
Take a backup while the iPad still works. Then sign out of iCloud, which switches Find My off and clears Activation Lock, and erase the tablet in Settings. Our Device Erasure Guides have the steps with pictures.
We wipe every iPad to Department of Defense standards on arrival anyway, however it turns up.
Four ways. Gift card averages about 3 percent more, since brands often add a bonus. PayPal is instant and PayPal charges 2.99 percent. Bank transfer takes 2 to 4 days. A check takes 3 to 5.
The money goes out the same day we finish inspecting your iPad.
Storage, connectivity, condition. A minute of your time, and your Buyback price holds for 14 days.
