SELL YOUR GALAXY S22 ULTRA
A Galaxy S22 Ultra is worth between $22 and $155 here. The bottom of that range is a 128GB with cracked glass and the top is a 1TB still sealed in its box. Four storage sizes, five carrier choices and six grades each carry their own number, and all of them are in the table below.
Before any of that, the check that costs Ultra sellers the most money. A Galaxy S22 Ultra sent without its S Pen grades Faulty. Not one grade down. Faulty, the bottom row of the table, no matter how good the rest of the phone is.
This is the phone where the pen stopped being an accessory. The Ultra before it could take an S Pen, but you bought the pen on its own and kept it in a case with a loop on the side, and nothing was missing if you did not have one. On the Galaxy S22 Ultra, Samsung cut a slot into the bottom edge and shipped the pen inside the body. From that year on the pen is part of the phone, and a phone missing part of itself is Faulty. The Galaxy S23 Ultra and every Ultra since carries the same slot and the same rule.
So before you box anything, push the S Pen in until it clicks, then pull it out again. The Air command wheel should appear on screen as it comes free. If the pen stands proud of the edge it has gone in backwards, and a pen that is not seated works its way out in transit. A pen from an old Note or a Galaxy Tab is not a substitute. It will write on the screen, which is what fools people, but it is the wrong part and forcing one into the silo can jam the slot. The matching part is Samsung's EJ-PS908, sold color matched to the phone, and it costs a good deal less than the drop to the bottom row.
That level of detail is the real difference between the word people search for and what happens here. A trade-in ends at a counter. Your phone becomes a line in somebody's system and goes into a bin with a hundred others, which is why the form only asks two questions. A Buyback ends with a person. Somebody buys this Galaxy S22 Ultra next, and they will want the pen in the silo, four working camera rings and a screen with no ghost on it. That is why we ask you to check the specific things rather than tick a box saying the phone is in decent shape. We are not scoring your phone. We are describing it to whoever gets it after you.
Unlocked handsets pay the most here at every grade and every storage size, with no exception anywhere on this model, and the gap is wide rather than a rounding difference. Search your settings for Network lock or SIM lock before you choose, and if the phone is tied to a network, pick the carrier you actually pay a bill to. Pick one by mistake and we raise your offer ourselves if the phone tests unlocked when we check it.
We buy used Galaxy S22 Ultras and we buy cracked ones. Sell your Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra for cash here and shipping is free in both directions. The one we cannot buy is a Galaxy S22 Ultra that will not power on, because it cannot be tested and your data cannot be cleared off it. We recycle those for free and wipe them on the way.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of a Galaxy S22 Ultra runs from $22 for a cracked 128GB up to $155 for a sealed 1TB. Most land in between. A used 512GB in Good condition is $130.
How much you can sell your Galaxy S22 Ultra for comes down to storage, wear, and whether the phone is unlocked. Every figure below is pulled live from our own price feed.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose 128GB, 256GB, 512GB or 1TB, then your carrier, then the grade that matches the wear. Check the S Pen slot before you pick a grade, because an empty slot means Faulty and it is better to know that now than later. To find your carrier, search your settings for Network lock or SIM lock. If it reads Unlocked, choose Unlocked. Otherwise choose the carrier you pay a bill to. The Buyback price you accept is held for 14 days.
We email you a prepaid USPS label. Put the S Pen back in its slot first and press it home until it clicks. Then remove your Google account, turn off Find My Mobile, remove your Samsung account and erase the phone. Take your SIM card out and leave the empty tray in place. Keep the charger, the cable, the case and the box. None of them are priced into the quote.
Your Galaxy S22 Ultra clears inspection within 48 hours of arriving. If the phone matches what you told us, payment leaves the same day, by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every phone we take in gets a DoD-grade wipe, whether we buy it or recycle it.

GALAXY S22 ULTRA BUYBACK QUESTIONS
An unlocked 512GB in Good condition is worth $130. The same 512GB in Fair condition is worth $78. A 128GB with a cracked screen is worth $22. Storage, wear and the carrier lock are the three things that move the number. Use the quote tool at the top of this page for your exact phone.
Yes, at the Faulty price. An empty S Pen slot grades a Galaxy S22 Ultra Faulty, because the pen ships inside the phone and counts as part of it rather than as an accessory. Missing it takes a 1TB from $124 in Average condition down to $27. That is most of the phone gone. A genuine Samsung replacement, part EJ-PS908, costs far less than that gap, so buying one before you sell is nearly always the better move. If you are shipping without a pen, choose Faulty when you quote and nothing changes when it arrives.
Not as a replacement. An older S Pen will write on the screen, which is why people think they are covered, but it is not the same part and it does not belong in the Galaxy S22 Ultra silo. Pushed in hard it can jam in the slot or damage the inside of it, and then you have two problems instead of one. Buy the matching pen, EJ-PS908. Samsung sells it color matched to the phone.
Look at the bottom edge. A Galaxy S22 Ultra has a small slot for the S Pen and a Galaxy S22 Plus has nothing there at all. Then count the rear cameras: four on the Ultra, three on the Plus. The Ultra also has squared off corners and a screen that curves away at the sides, where the Plus is flat with rounded corners. The certain answer is Settings, About phone, Model number. An Ultra reads SM-S908U or SM-S908U1. If yours turns out to be the smaller phone, our sell your Galaxy S22 Plus page has its own prices.
Open Settings, tap About phone and read Model number. SM-S908U is the US carrier version. SM-S908U1 is the US unlocked version, sold by Samsung and by retailers. Both are a Galaxy S22 Ultra and both are quoted on this page. A model number that does not begin SM-S908 is a different phone. SM-S918 is the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which carries its own prices.
No, and the difference is where the money lands. A carrier trade-in takes the value off a new handset and hands it back as bill credit, usually in slices across 24 or 36 months, and the rest of it dies if you leave. A Buyback is a straight purchase. We buy the Galaxy S22 Ultra from you and pay by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check, with no new line to open and no strings on the money. Put the two numbers side by side before you decide.
Yes, and quote it honestly. Any crack or chip puts a Galaxy S22 Ultra into Faulty whatever the phone does otherwise. That covers the front glass, the back glass and the glass over each of the four camera lenses. A phone that works perfectly with one chip in a lens cover is still Faulty. Faulty is a price here, not a refusal: a cracked 128GB pays $22, a 256GB $25, a 512GB $26 and a 1TB $27. Choose Faulty when you quote and nothing changes when the phone reaches us.
Burn-in grades a Galaxy S22 Ultra Faulty. Every Galaxy S has an OLED panel, and this one is four years old, so it has had four years of the same status bar icons and the same navigation bar sitting in the same pixels. That is how a ghost gets baked in. Turn the brightness up, fill the screen with a plain white image in a dim room, and tilt the phone. A faint shadow of the clock, of the icons across the top or of the buttons along the bottom is burn-in. Our Galaxy S23 Plus page runs the long version of this test if you want to be certain. Two things that are not burn-in: a single dead pixel, and the green or blue cast an OLED takes on when you look at it from an angle.
There is no battery percentage rule on Samsung phones, so nothing on this page asks you to go looking for one. No 80 percent line to clear, no health screen, no reading to hunt down in your settings. People ask because iPhones are graded that way and they arrive expecting the same here. They are not the same.
What we grade instead is whether the phone works. Any functionality issue at all makes a Galaxy S22 Ultra Faulty, and the battery only enters that once it has genuinely failed: the phone dies with charge still showing on screen, or it will not run at all off the battery, or it will not take a charge. A four year old battery that gets you through less of the day than it used to is ordinary wear, and it costs you nothing.
Then the phone is Faulty. Anything on a Galaxy S22 Ultra that has stopped working puts it there, and that includes the fingerprint reader and face unlock. Rule one thing out first. The reader on this phone sits under the display and works by sending sound through the glass, so a thick tempered glass protector can stop it reading while the reader itself is perfectly fine. Peel the protector off, register your fingerprint again and try. If it reads, your grade is safe. Our Galaxy S22 Plus page goes through that check in full. If it still will not read your finger, choose Faulty.
Yes, and by a wide margin on this model. An unlocked Galaxy S22 Ultra pays the most at every grade and every size, with no exception anywhere in the grid. A Good 128GB pays $110 unlocked, against $85 on AT&T, $75 on T-Mobile, $62 on Verizon and $55 for anything else. That is a real gap rather than a rounding difference. To find out which one you have, search your settings for Network lock or SIM lock. If it reads Unlocked, choose Unlocked. If you pick a carrier and we find the phone unlocked when we test it, we raise your offer ourselves.
No. A phone with no power cannot be tested and your data cannot be cleared off it, so we will not put a price on one. What we will do is recycle it for free. Send it on a free label and we destroy the data to DoD standards. If you would rather have the phone back, the return costs you nothing either.
Not while payments are still running. A Galaxy S22 Ultra sitting on a carrier installment plan or a lease counts as being under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Clear the balance, own the phone outright, then quote it like anyone else.
No, and there are three separate checks here, so read all three.
Google FRP. Remove your Google account from the phone first, then factory reset it. Do it the other way round and the next owner is stopped dead at the setup screen.
Samsung's own reactivation lock. Turn Find My Mobile off and take your Samsung account off the phone as well.
The IMEI and the Knox counter. A phone reported lost or stolen, blocked by a carrier, or carrying an unpaid balance fails the IMEI check. A tripped Knox counter is a separate thing and it is permanent. Knox trips the first time a Galaxy S22 Ultra is rooted or flashed with custom software and it can never be reset, which is why Secure Folder and Samsung Wallet stop working once it goes. We cannot buy a Knox tripped phone at any price, so please do not ship one. We would only have to post it back to you.
There is a step by step walkthrough on our erase your device page, and we run a DoD-grade wipe on arrival as well.
You pick when you accept the quote and there are four ways. A gift card is emailed and works out about 3 percent better than the rest, because the brands add a bonus on top. PayPal is instant, and PayPal takes a 2.99 percent fee out of it. A bank transfer lands in 2 to 4 days. A posted check takes 3 to 5. Whichever you choose, it leaves the same day your Galaxy S22 Ultra clears inspection. One catch: a Brand New sealed phone is paid by PayPal only. Since Brand New and Flawless pay the same on this model, an opened phone with no marks on it is better quoted as Flawless, where all four methods are open to you.
Pick your storage, your carrier and your grade. It takes about a minute, and we hold the price for 14 days.
