SELL YOUR ROG PHONE 5S PRO
A ROG Phone 5s Pro pays between $29 and $173. Most people call this a trade-in. We call it a Buyback, and the reason the number is different is that a person here tests the phone instead of guessing from a photo.
This phone has two screens. That is the part owners forget when they grade it.
The big one you already know about. The other one is on the back, a full color panel that ASUS calls ROG Vision, and it is what plays the little animation when you plug in a charger or start a game. It is a real display, not a light.
So it gets checked like a display. Set it to show something in Armoury Crate and look at it in a dim room. Dead pixels, a section that never lights, or a panel that has stopped responding at all are all functionality problems, and any functionality problem puts the phone in Faulty. It is also an OLED, so it can hold a ghost of an image it has shown a thousand times.
If the back of your phone is blank apart from a logo that glows, you have the plain ROG Phone 5s rather than the Pro. That one has its own page. Worth checking before you quote, because the two do not pay the same.
The 5s Pro came one way only, 18GB of memory with 512GB of storage, so there is no storage question to answer here. Pick your grade and that is the whole quote.
Where to sell a ROG Phone 5s Pro is a fair question in 2026, because almost nobody lists it. We buy it used or broken, and the label costs you nothing in either direction. ASUS sold these unlocked and direct, so choose Unlocked.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of a ROG Phone 5s Pro runs from $29 up to $173. One column, because ASUS only built it in 512GB.
How much you can sell yours for comes down to wear alone. The figures update themselves from our live feed.
| Comparison row | 512GB |
|---|---|
Brand New | $173 |
Flawless | $165 |
Good | $145 |

HOW IT WORKS
There is no storage to pick on this one. Choose Unlocked, then choose the grade that matches the wear. Wake the rear panel first and look at it properly. Accept the Buyback price and it is held for 14 days.
We send a prepaid USPS label. Before you box it, sign out of your Google account and erase the phone. The AeroActive Cooler 5 that came in the box stays with you, along with the case and the charger. We cannot pay for any of it.
Inspection happens within 48 hours of the phone reaching us. If it is what you said it was, the money leaves the same day, by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every phone gets a Department of Defense grade wipe, bought or recycled.
SPEC SHEET
The 5s and the 5s Pro share a model number, so the back of the phone and the memory figure are the only reliable ways to tell them apart.
| ASUS's name for it | ROG Phone 5s Pro |
|---|---|
| Released | August 2021 |
| Model number | ZS676KS, which the plain ROG Phone 5s also uses |
| Main display | 6.78-inch AMOLED, 2448 by 1080, 144Hz, 360Hz touch sampling |
| Rear display | ROG Vision, a full color PMOLED panel. The plain 5s has an RGB logo instead. |
| Panel type | Both screens are OLED, so both can burn in, and burn-in grades Faulty. |
| Chip | Snapdragon 888+ |
| Memory and storage | 18GB with 512GB. That is the only configuration. |
| Rear touch sensors | Yes, on the Pro only, alongside the AirTriggers on the edge |

| Headphone jack | 3.5 mm |
| Weight | 238 grams |
| Fingerprint reader | Under the screen |
| Cooler | The AeroActive Cooler 5 came in the box. It is not priced in, so keep it. |

ROG PHONE 5S PRO BUYBACK QUESTIONS
A Flawless one pays $165. Flawless means no marks at all, anywhere, and on a phone that lived under a case for four years that is more common than you would think. Wear is the only thing that moves the number here, because there is a single storage size. The quote tool at the top of the page gives you your exact figure.
No marks at all. Not light marks, not one hairline you have to angle it to see. Hold the phone under a bright light, tilt it slowly, and look at the glass, the frame and the back panel.
Find anything and you are into Good, which allows for light wear you cannot see at arm's length. There is no shame in Good and no penalty for choosing it. What costs people money is picking Flawless on a phone that is really Good and getting regraded after it arrives.
Look at the back. The Pro has ROG Vision, a full color panel that shows animations and pictures. The plain 5s has a lit ROG logo and nothing else. Memory settles it if you are still unsure: open Settings, then About phone. 18GB means the Pro. 8GB, 12GB or 16GB means the plain one, which is priced on our sell your ROG Phone 5s page.
It grades Faulty, which is $29. The rear panel is a display and displays have to work. A patch that never lights, a panel that stays dark, or one that no longer answers Armoury Crate all count. This is the single most missed check on this model, because the phone still looks and feels perfect from the front.
It can. It is an OLED like the main screen, so an image left on it for long enough leaves a ghost. Set it to a plain white or bright image, wait a moment, then look for the outline of whatever it usually shows. The main screen gets the same treatment: dark room, brightness up, white image, hunt for the status bar icons or the navigation bar sitting there when they should not be. Burn-in on either panel means Faulty, and it is still worth sending.
Yes. Any crack or chip, front or back, means Faulty, and Faulty is a price rather than a door closing: $29. Say so on the quote and the figure you see is the figure you get. The back panel counts as much as the front, which catches people out on this phone because the rear glass is easy to chip on a desk edge.
Yes, all of them. The Pro has two ultrasonic zones on the edge and two more sensing areas on the back, and every one of them is a component. If one no longer registers a press, the phone is Faulty. Turn them on in Armoury Crate, load any game, and try each one. There is nothing to see from the outside, so testing is the only way to know.
Keep it. Yes, it came in the box with the phone, and no, that does not mean we need it back. Accessories are not priced into the quote, so the cooler, the case and the charger add nothing here and are worth more to you. Nothing except the phone has to be in your parcel.
There is no percentage rule. The 5s Pro carries two 3000mAh cells, and we do not ask you to read a health figure off any screen. Battery only matters if it has stopped working properly, and that is covered by the same rule as everything else, which is that anything not working means Faulty.
It does not really, because no US carrier sold this phone. Their quote tools list what they stocked, and an ASUS gaming phone was never on that list, so the answer is usually a refusal or a zero. A Flawless 5s Pro is $165 here.
No, and it is worth explaining why rather than just saying no. With no power we cannot test what works, and more to the point we cannot clear your data off it. We will not price something we cannot open. Free recycling is the alternative, with the same Department of Defense wipe, or we post it back to you for free.
We cannot buy it while the lock is on, at any grade, because the next owner would be handed a phone they cannot get into. Sign out of the account and erase the phone before you post it. Anything blacklisted, reported lost or stolen, or blocked by a network is also outside what we can take.
Not while a balance is owed on it. We do not purchase devices under financial obligations, and that covers installment plans and leases. Once it is fully yours, quote it as normal.
Pick one of four at checkout. Gift card, which lands by email and averages about 3 percent more because the brands add a bonus. PayPal, which is instant and carries PayPal's own 2.99 percent fee. Bank transfer, 2 to 4 days. Check in the post, 3 to 5 days. All of them are sent the same day the phone clears inspection, and a sealed Brand New phone is PayPal only.
Straight answer: it is a 2021 phone and the top of the range is $173, which is not a big number and we are not going to dress it up. But a drawer pays nothing, gaming phones lose value every month they sit, and posting it costs you nothing. If it is too far gone to carry a price we will recycle it free and wipe it either way.
One storage size, so all you pick is the grade. Wake the rear panel and check it first. The price you accept is held for 14 days.
