SELL YOUR PIXEL 9 PRO FOLD
A Pixel 9 Pro Fold is worth somewhere between $88 and $94 right now. Storage and wear move it, and so does one question we ask before anything else. Most people call this a trade-in. We call it a Buyback, because we buy the phone from you outright and send you money, not credit toward a new handset.
Start with the fold. Open the phone slowly and stop it halfway. It should hold that angle on its own, swing without grinding or catching, and lie properly flat when you open it the rest of the way. If it does not do all three, that is a functionality problem, and the rule on every Android phone we buy is short: if something on the phone does not work, the phone is Faulty. Not a grade down. Faulty.
Now the line down the middle of the inner screen. That crease is how a folding panel folds. It is not damage, it is not a fault, and it costs you nothing. Some Pixel 9 Pro Folds have small bumps along it as well, and those came that way from the factory. We are saying it plainly because sellers grade themselves down over that line every week, for free.
A crack is different, and this phone has two screens that can take one. A break or a chip in the 8 inch inner panel puts it in Faulty. So does one in the 6.3 inch cover panel, the back, or the glass over the cameras, even when the phone works perfectly and looks fine from three feet away. Both panels are OLED, so both can burn in, and burn-in is Faulty too.
One more check that takes two seconds, and it is specific to this phone. The fingerprint reader on a Pixel 9 Pro Fold sits inside the power button on the right edge. Every other Pixel 9 reads your finger through the screen. Press it and unlock the phone. If it will not read, that is a fault like any other, so you want to know now rather than after you have mailed it.
We do not grade the battery on a Pixel. There is no 80 percent line, no percentage to look up and no battery health screen to go hunting for. We buy used Pixel 9 Pro Folds and we buy broken ones, unlocked handsets pay the most, and shipping is free in both directions.

Cases, chargers and cables are not part of the quote, and a charging brick loose in the same box is how a good cover screen arrives scratched.
A person opens your Pixel 9 Pro Fold by hand within 48 hours of it arriving, works through the hinge, both screens and every function, and writes to you with what we found. QUESTIONS
A 512GB in Good condition pays $470, and the 256GB pays $440. Good means the phone does everything it should and the wear does not show at arm's length. If it is unmarked, a 512GB is $520. The whole grid is above.
No. Every folding phone has one, because the panel bends there every time you close it. It is part of the design, we expect to see it on every Pixel 9 Pro Fold that arrives, and it does not move your grade. Small ridges or bumps along the crease are normal on this model too. What is not normal is a crack, a lifted edge or a dead strip through the fold, and those are Faulty.
Yes, at the Faulty price. A hinge that grinds, that flops instead of holding an angle, or that will not open flat is a working part that has stopped working, and that is Faulty on any Android phone we buy. On a 512GB that is $94. Send it anyway rather than throwing it out, and tick Faulty when you quote so the number you see is the number you get.
Yes. Both count and both land in the same place. A crack or a chip in either panel is Faulty, and so is a crack in the back glass or in the glass over the camera bar. It does not matter that the phone still works. Peel any screen protector off before you look, because a protector hides a hairline crack well enough to fool the person who owns the phone.
Burn-in is Faulty. Both screens on this phone are OLED, which is the panel type that can keep a ghost of whatever sat still on it. To check, turn the brightness up, put a plain white image on the screen in a dim room and tilt it. Look hardest at the top strip where the status icons live and the bottom where the navigation bar sits, then do the same on the inner panel. A faint image that fades after a minute is temporary and not burn-in. One that stays is.
No. We do not grade Android phones on battery percentage. There is no 80 percent cutoff, no figure to read out and no battery health screen on a Pixel to go looking for. If the battery has genuinely failed, meaning the phone will not hold a charge or shuts down on you, that is caught as a functionality problem like anything else. Otherwise the battery does not enter your grade at all.
Open Settings, About phone, Model. A US Pixel 9 Pro Fold reads GGH2X. The code is printed on the box rather than on the phone, so the Settings screen is the practical answer once the box is gone. The 9 Pro Fold was sold in 256GB and 512GB only, in Obsidian and Porcelain, so a 128GB or a 1TB reading means you are on the wrong page. Yes. On this phone it is built into the power button on the right edge, which is unusual, since the other Pixel 9 models read your finger through the display. Delete your saved fingerprint, add it again and unlock the phone a couple of times. If it will not read, the phone is Faulty and it is better to know now. If it reads fine, that is one more thing you do not have to worry about.
Not for cash, and here is the honest reason. A phone that will not power on cannot be tested, and more to the point your data cannot be cleared off it, so we will not put a price on one. What we will do is recycle it free, wipe it to Department of Defense standard on the way through, or mail it straight back to you at no cost. Your choice, and both directions of shipping are on us.
Not while the payments are still running. A phone on a carrier installment plan or a lease is a phone somebody else still has a claim on, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Clear the balance and it quotes exactly like any other Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Those we cannot buy at any grade. Three separate checks: the IMEI has to be clean, so nothing reported lost or stolen and nothing blocked by a carrier; the Google account has to be signed out; and factory reset protection has to be off, which happens automatically when you remove the account before you reset. A phone that arrives still asking for somebody's Google login cannot be tested or sold on, so we send it back.
It does, and by a lot on this model. Unlocked is the top price at every grade and both storage sizes. A Good 512GB is $470 unlocked against $228 on Verizon. If your Pixel 9 Pro Fold is carrier locked, quote it that way rather than hoping, because the grade we give you has to match the phone we get.
No. Obsidian and Porcelain pay the same at every grade and every storage size. Color has never moved a price here, on any phone.
Four ways. A gift card averages about 3 percent more than the cash figure because the brands add a bonus on top. PayPal is instant and PayPal charges 2.99 percent for it. A bank transfer takes 2 to 4 days and a check 3 to 5. Whichever you pick, the money goes out the same day your phone is inspected, and inspection happens within 48 hours of it arriving. One exception: a Brand New phone can only be paid through PayPal.
Remove the Google account first, then factory reset. Settings, Passwords and accounts, tap your Google account, Remove account, then Settings, System, Reset options, Erase all data.
