SELL YOUR ONEPLUS 7
A OnePlus 7 tops out at $25 here. That is a small number and we are not going to dress it up. This is a 2019 phone. It is still real money for something that has been living in a drawer, and the quote takes about a minute.
Most people call it a trade-in. We call it a Buyback, and the difference is that our number comes from a person looking at your phone rather than a grid.
One thing straight away: the 128GB OnePlus 7 is not carrying a price with us right now. Every figure on this page that pays belongs to a 256GB phone. The 128GB cells in the table read straight off our own feed, so they move the moment that changes.
The OnePlus 7 is the only phone in its family with no pop-up camera. The selfie lens sits in a small teardrop notch at the top of the screen and it does not move. Every other OnePlus 7 hides a motor behind the top edge.
So the part most likely to fail on a OnePlus 7 Pro does not exist on yours. The moving part you do have is smaller and harder to see, and it is the fingerprint reader under the glass. Wake the phone and unlock it with your thumb. If the reader no longer reads your finger, that is a function that has stopped working, and the phone grades Faulty. Peel any screen protector off before you judge it, because a thick one confuses the sensor and that is not the same as a broken sensor.
Where to sell a OnePlus 7 really comes down to who still quotes one. We do, used or broken. If it will not power on we cannot buy it, because a phone with no power cannot be tested and your photos and messages cannot be cleared off it. We recycle those free instead. If you are holding a newer one, the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus 7 Pro have their own prices.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of a OnePlus 7 reaches $25 for a sealed 256GB, and a 256GB with a cracked screen still pays $3. The 128GB column is showing nothing today and we would rather say that than hide the column.
What you can sell yours for comes down to storage and wear. Every number below is pulled live from our own price feed as you look at it.
| Comparison row | 128GB | 256GB |
|---|---|---|
Brand New | $0 | $25 |
Flawless | $0 | $25 |
Good | $0 | $15 |
Average | $0 | $13 |
Fair | $0 | $9 |
Faulty | $0 | $3 |
HOW IT WORKS
Pick 128GB or 256GB, pick your carrier, and pick the grade that matches the wear. Unlock it with your fingerprint once before you choose, because a reader that has stopped reading changes the grade. The Buyback price you accept is held for 14 days.
We email you a prepaid USPS label. Sign out of your Google account, erase the phone, and box it. Nothing else needs to go in. We cannot pay for a charger, a case or the original box, so keep them.
Your OnePlus 7 clears inspection within 48 hours of arriving. If it matches what you told us, the money leaves the same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every phone gets a Department of Defense grade wipe, whether we buy it or recycle it.

ONEPLUS 7 BUYBACK QUESTIONS
Storage and wear decide it. A 256GB with heavy wear you can feel is $9. The same phone with light marks is $15, and a sealed one is $25. Use the quote tool at the top of this page for your exact phone.
Our price feed is not carrying a figure for the 128GB right now. That is a gap in the data rather than a decision about your phone, and we have passed it on to be fixed. Those cells are live, so the day the feed fills in, this page fills in with it. Until then the 256GB numbers are the ones this page can stand behind.
Turn it over and count the rear cameras. The OnePlus 7 has two lenses in a small vertical strip. The OnePlus 7T has three in a large round module in the middle of the back, which is hard to mistake for anything else. The front tells you as well: both have a teardrop notch, but the 7T screen is 6.55 inches and runs at 90Hz, and the 7 is 6.41 inches at 60Hz. If yours turns out to be the newer one, our sell your OnePlus 7T page has its own numbers.
GM1900, GM1901, GM1903 and GM1905 are all a OnePlus 7 and all four quote on this page. The GM prefix belongs to the 7 series. If yours starts with HD you are holding a 7T or a 7T Pro. If it reads GM1925 you have the 7 Pro 5G. Settings, then About device, shows you which one you have.
Yes. A crack or a chip anywhere on the phone, front or back, moves it to Faulty. There are no exceptions to that, not even when the phone works perfectly. Faulty is still a row with a number in it: a 256GB in that state pays $3. Choose Faulty when you quote and nothing changes when your phone reaches us.
It does. On an Android phone our rule is broad and simple: if something on the phone does not work, the phone is Faulty. A reader under the glass that no longer recognizes your finger counts, the same as a dead button or a speaker with no sound. Test it with the screen protector off first, because a thick protector blocks the sensor and that is a protector problem rather than a phone problem.
There is no battery percentage rule on this phone. We do not ask you for a battery health number and there is no screen on a OnePlus 7 we want you to go and read. A battery that has aged the way six year old batteries age is normal wear and does not change your grade. A battery that genuinely does not work, so the phone dies at 40 percent or only runs on the cable, is caught by the same functionality rule as everything else and grades Faulty.
It can, because the screen is AMOLED. Burn-in is a faint ghost of something that sat still for a long time, usually the navigation bar at the bottom or the status icons at the top. Open a plain white image, turn the brightness up, and look across the screen at an angle. Any shape that stays visible on white is burn-in, and burn-in grades Faulty.
Yes. A carrier lock is not a fault and it does not stop the sale, it just changes the number, so pick your carrier honestly in the quote tool and the price adjusts. What does stop the sale is a lock on the phone itself. If it still asks for a Google account that is not yours, or it has been reported lost or stolen, blacklisted or blocked by a network, we cannot buy it at any grade.
Remove your Google account first, in Settings under Accounts, then run a factory reset from Settings, System, Reset options. Doing it in that order is what clears the lock that stops the next person setting the phone up. Skip it and your OnePlus 7 comes back to you unpaid. There is a walkthrough on our erase your device page. We run a Department of Defense grade wipe when it lands here as well, but yours has to come off first.
Not while there is a balance on it. A phone sitting on an installment plan or a lease is under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Settle it, own it outright, then quote it here as normal.
Not for money, and the reason is practical rather than fussy. With no power we cannot test it, and we cannot clear your photos, messages and saved passwords off it, so we will not put a price on something we cannot check. What we will do is recycle it for nothing on a free label, wipe it to Department of Defense standards, and dispose of it properly. Want it back instead, that is free too.
No. Nothing is required in the box on this model. The Fast Charge brick, the red cable, the bumper case and the packaging add nothing to your Buyback price, and sending them only gives them a chance to go missing. Post the phone on its own.
Compare the two numbers before you decide, because they are rarely close on a phone this old. A carrier gives you credit against a new line and often nothing at all for a six year old handset. We pay cash, up to $25, and it is yours to spend anywhere. We also pay on cracked and faulty phones, which most carrier offers refuse outright.
You pick at checkout. A gift card is emailed and lands about 3 percent higher than the rest, because the brands add a bonus on top. PayPal is instant, minus PayPal's own 2.99 percent fee. A bank transfer takes 2 to 4 days and a mailed check takes 3 to 5. Whichever you choose, it goes out the same day your phone clears inspection. One exception: a sealed Brand New phone is paid through PayPal only.
Pick your storage, your carrier and your grade. It takes about a minute, and we hold the price for 14 days.
