SELL YOUR IPAD MINI 6
An iPad mini 6 is worth between $30 and $273 on this page today. Two storage sizes and six grades sit between those numbers, and the table below prints all twelve figures, so you can find your own line rather than work from a midpoint. The spread is that wide because several single defects drop a tablet to the bottom row on their own, whatever the rest of it looks like.
A Buyback is a price on how easily this tablet finds its next owner, which is not the same thing as a price on its condition. That distinction explains most of what follows. Two minis that switch on and behave identically can sit more than a hundred dollars apart in the table below, because one of them carries something permanent that narrows the pool of people willing to take it on. It is also why the finish makes no difference at all and the storage makes a great deal of difference: whoever buys this mini next cares about what they are getting, not about what you picked in 2021.
More iPad mini 6s went to work than went to living rooms.
It is the tablet bolted to the counter at a coffee shop, the one clipped to a pilot's knee, the one handed over on a clipboard mount at a rental car desk, the one strapped to a shelf in a warehouse. If yours came out of a job rather than out of a box, two of our rules are pointed straight at it.
The first is engraving. Companies order iPads engraved with an asset tag, a department name or a serial, because Apple does it free when you buy. Any engraving on the back grades the tablet Faulty. It does not matter that the glass is perfect and the aluminum is clean. Turn the mini over and read the back before you pick a grade, because this is the single thing that surprises people most on this model.
The second is the account. A work iPad is usually signed into a company Apple Account, which means Activation Lock stays on until somebody in that company signs out of it. Your own password will not clear it, and neither will ours. Ask whoever manages the devices to release it first, or the mini arrives here locked and goes straight back to you unsold.
Wear sits in different places on a work mini too. A tablet that spent two years in a cradle gets its damage at the corners and along the edges where the clamp gripped, not across the middle of the screen. Run a fingernail around all four corners. Marks you can see but not feel are Average. Marks you can feel are Fair. A chip, however small, is Faulty.
Prices below are WiFi. A WiFi + Cellular iPad mini 6 pays more at both sizes, but not the flat 15 dollars people expect: the gap depends on the grade and is identical at 64GB and 256GB. It is 18 dollars on a sealed one, 15 at Flawless and Good, 14 at Average, 9 at Fair and 3 at Faulty. The highest figure this model reaches is a Cellular 256GB, so set connectivity in the quote box before you compare numbers.
Where to sell an iPad mini 6 is mostly a question of who still quotes them properly five years on. The best place to sell one is somewhere that still prices every grade of it, and we do: used, scratched or cracked, one at a time or a boxful at once if an office is clearing out its fleet.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of an iPad mini 6 runs from $30 for a cracked 64GB up to $273 for a sealed 256GB, and $291 if that sealed 256GB has cellular.
Two storage sizes, six grades and a small premium for the modem. That is the whole thing. Every figure below is a live WiFi price pulled from our own feed as the page loads.
| Comparison row | 64GB | 256GB |
|---|---|---|
Brand New | $211 | $273 |
Flawless | $170 | $220 |
Good | $150 | $200 |
Average | $135 | $180 |
Fair | $90 | $120 |
Faulty | $30 | $40 |
HOW IT WORKS
Choose 64GB or 256GB, WiFi or WiFi + Cellular, and the grade that matches the wear. Check the back for engraving before you decide, because that one detail moves the Buyback price into the Faulty column. Whatever you accept is locked in for 14 days.
We email you a prepaid USPS label. Sign out of iCloud, erase the mini, and box the tablet on its own. If yours is a Cellular model, take the SIM card out and leave the empty tray in place. No Apple Pencil, no case, no charger.
Your mini clears inspection within 48 hours of landing with us. If it matches what you told us, payment goes out that same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every tablet is wiped to DoD standards whether we buy it or recycle it.

IPAD MINI 6 BUYBACK QUESTIONS
It depends on size, wear and whether it has cellular. A 256GB in Average condition pays $180. A 64GB graded Good pays $150. A cracked 64GB still pays $30. The quote box at the top of the page prices your exact one.
Yes, but it grades Faulty, so be ready for that number rather than the one you were hoping for. Engraving is one of the faults that sets the grade by itself, the same way a crack does, because it cannot be undone and it limits who will buy the tablet afterwards. This catches a lot of ex-office minis that are otherwise immaculate. Read the back carefully. A shallow laser etch in matching aluminum is easy to miss in a lit room, so tilt it toward a window.
You cannot tell by looking, because Apple reused the design. The model number is the answer: A2567, A2568 and A2569 are the iPad mini 6. A2993, A2995 and A2996 are the iPad mini (A17 Pro), which has its own page and its own prices.
Two shortcuts if the print has worn off. A 64GB mini is always a mini 6, because the A17 Pro starts at 128GB. And a pink one is always a mini 6, because Apple never made the A17 Pro in pink.
A2567 is the WiFi only iPad mini 6. A2568 is WiFi + Cellular. A2569 is that Cellular model as sold in mainland China. Read it off the back or from Settings, General, About. The Cellular pair are worth more, so it is worth a look rather than a guess.
We cannot, and nobody else can either. Activation Lock is tied to the account that signed in, so only that account can release it. Go back to whoever ran the devices and ask them to remove the mini from their account, or to hand it to you signed out. A tablet that turns up here still locked cannot be tested, cannot be resold, and gets mailed back to you. That is a wasted week for everyone, and it is avoided with one email before you post it.
Average is light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail. Good is wear you cannot even see at arm's length. Fair is heavier marks you can feel, with no cracks or chips anywhere.
Faulty is a fixed list, not a judgment call. A crack or a chip on the screen, the back or the camera cover. Battery health below 80 percent, or a service battery warning. A replaced or aftermarket screen. Touch ID that will not read your finger. Any button that has stopped working. A bent frame. Any fault in the speakers or microphones. Engraving. A missing or damaged SIM tray on a Cellular model. Any one of those on its own sets the grade.
Yes. It grades Faulty and it still gets paid for. A 64GB in that state is $30 and a 256GB is $40. Pick Faulty when you quote, describe it honestly, and the figure does not move when it reaches us. The one thing we cannot take is a mini so damaged it will not power on or respond to touch, because then there is no way to test it or clear your data.
Yes, straight to Faulty, however tidy the rest of it looks. A service battery message does the same. At 80 percent or higher the battery has no effect on the grade whatsoever. Settings, then Battery, shows you the health figure on current software. Worth a look on an ex-work mini, because a tablet that sat on a charging cradle all day for two years has usually taken a beating there.
On a WiFi + Cellular mini 6, yes. A missing or damaged SIM tray grades the tablet Faulty, and the tray on this model sits on the right edge. Fleet tablets lose them constantly, because somebody pops the tray to move a data plan and the tray never makes it back. A WiFi mini 6 has no tray in the first place, so the rule does not touch it. Send the empty tray in place and take the SIM card out.
Cellular pays more than WiFi at both sizes, by an amount set by the grade rather than the capacity: 18 dollars on a sealed one, 15 at Flawless and Good, 14 at Average, 9 at Fair and 3 at Faulty, the same at 64GB as at 256GB. So the very top price on this page is a Cellular tablet at $291 and not a WiFi one. There is no carrier lock on an iPad, so it makes no difference which network it ran on.
The IMEI does matter, and only on Cellular models, because a WiFi mini 6 does not have one. It has to be clean. Anything reported lost or stolen, or barred by a carrier, fails that check and we cannot buy it. Your IMEI is in Settings, General, About. Ex-fleet tablets are worth checking here, since a device written off in a company's records sometimes gets reported before anyone remembers it went home with a member of staff.
Not for money. With no power we cannot test a single thing and we cannot wipe your data, and we are not willing to skip either. Free recycling is on the table instead, or a free return if you would rather keep it. Recycled tablets still get the DoD-grade wipe once we can reach the storage.
Not while payments are still running. A tablet on monthly installments or a lease counts as being under a financial obligation, and those are not ones we can buy. Settle the balance, own it outright, and it quotes like anything else on this page.
No, keep them. The price covers the tablet alone, so an Apple Pencil (2nd generation), a folio, a stand mount or a USB-C cable adds nothing and only risks going astray in the mail. If the mini came out of a cradle, unclip it and send the tablet on its own.
An Apple trade-in hands back credit against your next Apple purchase, so the number only helps if you are buying something from them. A Buyback is a straight sale. We buy the mini on its own, the money is cash, and the price is held for 14 days while it reaches us.
One thing that never moves our number is the finish. Space Gray, Pink, Purple and Starlight all quote identically. Size, condition and cellular are what move it, so pick those three and ignore the color.
Erase it before it leaves you. Settings, General, Transfer or Reset iPad, then Erase All Content and Settings. Entering your Apple Account password there is what turns Activation Lock off. Our device erasure guides show every screen if you would rather follow along.
Payment is four ways, your pick. Gift cards come by email and land about 3 percent above the cash number thanks to brand bonuses. PayPal is instant with a 2.99 percent fee taken by PayPal. Bank transfer runs 2 to 4 days, a check 3 to 5. All of them go out the same day the mini clears inspection. Sealed Brand New tablets are the one case that is PayPal only.
Choose 64GB or 256GB, WiFi or Cellular, and your grade. A minute of your time, and the price is yours for 14 days.
