SELL YOUR IPAD 11
An iPad 11 is worth between $52 and $331 today, with every step in between printed in the table below. Storage does most of that spread. The rest is wear, and on a tablet this new the wear that costs you is usually on the side you never look at.
A Buyback asks one real thing of you, and it is not the packing. Sign out of your Apple account and erase the iPad before it goes in the box. Activation Lock is the one part of this we cannot sort out from our end: a locked iPad 11 cannot be tested, cannot be sold on and cannot be paid for, so it goes back to you at our expense and the trip was for nothing. The rest is ours to carry. The label is free, the inspection is ours to do, and if the tablet turns out to be worse than you thought, we tell you what we found instead of quietly moving the number.
Here is the strange part. Apple never called this thing an iPad 11. On the box, in Settings and on Apple's own spec page it is the iPad (A16), named after the chip inside it. The number eleven is printed nowhere on the tablet.
So stop hunting for a name that does not exist. Turn it over instead. The A-number in the small gray print near the bottom of the back is the only thing that settles which iPad this is. A3354 is WiFi. A3355 is WiFi + Cellular. A3356 is that same cellular tablet as sold in mainland China.
While it is face down, actually look at that back. Engraving drops an iPad straight to Faulty, and people forget the free engraving they picked at checkout years ago because they have never once turned the thing over. A chip in the aluminum does the same. Ten seconds on the side you never see.
The iPad 10 is the same size, comes in the same four colors and has the same Touch ID top button, so a photo will not separate them. Storage helps a little: a 512GB base iPad is an iPad 11, a 64GB one is an iPad 10. Otherwise read the back. If it turns out to be the older one, our iPad 10 page carries its own prices.
Where to sell an iPad 11 comes down to who pays a real number and then actually pays it. We buy them used and we buy them broken, the label is free, and the money moves the day your iPad clears. If it will not switch on we cannot buy it, but we will recycle it for nothing.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of an iPad 11 runs from $52 for a 128GB WiFi model with a cracked screen up to $331 for a sealed 512GB. Add cellular and the top of that range becomes $362.
Storage moves the number most, then wear. Every figure below is pulled from our live price feed and changes when the feed changes.
| Comparison row | 128GB | 256GB | 512GB |
|---|---|---|---|
Brand New | $226 | $268 | $331 |
Flawless | $215 | $255 | $315 |
Good | $172 | $204 | $252 |
Average | $158 | $188 | $232 |
Fair | $103 | $122 | $151 |
Faulty | $52 | $61 | $76 |
HOW IT WORKS
Pick 128GB, 256GB or 512GB, say whether it is WiFi or cellular, and choose the grade that matches the wear. Read the A-number off the back first if you are not certain which iPad this is, because the Buyback price you accept is locked for 14 days and it is locked to the model you picked.
We email a prepaid USPS label. Sign out of your Apple account so Activation Lock is off, erase the iPad, then box it on its own. Keep the Pencil, the keyboard, the case and the cable. None of them add a cent to the offer and all of them can go missing in transit.
Your iPad is inspected within 48 hours of arriving. If it is what you said it was, payment leaves the same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every tablet gets a DoD grade wipe, whether we buy it or recycle it.

IPAD 11 BUYBACK QUESTIONS
Storage, connectivity and wear, in that order. A 256GB WiFi iPad 11 in Good condition is $204. The same tablet in Fair is $122. A 512GB with a cracked screen still pays $76. Use the quote tool at the top of the page for your exact one.
An Apple trade-in works differently. Apple returns the amount as credit against a new purchase or as an Apple Gift Card, so the money stays inside the Apple Store. A Buyback here is paid to you by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check, and you can spend it wherever you like. Apple also turns away a cracked or engraved iPad and recycles it for nothing, where every grade on this page carries a price.
Both names describe the same tablet. Apple stopped putting a generation number on the basic iPad and named the 2025 one after its chip, so the official name is iPad (A16). It is still the eleventh basic iPad, which is why almost everybody says iPad 11, including us.
It does mean there is no number anywhere on the device to check against. If you want proof of what you have, it is the A-number on the back: A3354, A3355 or A3356. Quote it as an iPad 11 here and you are on the right page.
They are the same size, the same four colors and have the same button layout, so this one catches people. Two checks settle it. Storage: 64GB means iPad 10, 512GB means iPad 11. The back: A3354, A3355 and A3356 are iPad 11s, while A2696, A2757, A2777 and A3162 are iPad 10s. There is a third tell if you have a cellular model, which is that the iPad 10 has a SIM tray on the edge and the iPad 11 has none at all. Prices for the older one live on our iPad 10 page.
Flip the iPad over and read the small print near the bottom edge. A3354 is the WiFi only iPad 11. A3355 is the WiFi + Cellular version. A3356 is that cellular tablet as sold in mainland China. All three are an iPad 11 and all three quote on this page.
Yes. Any crack or chip, front, back or camera glass, moves it to Faulty, and Faulty is a price rather than a no. A 128GB in that state pays $52, a 256GB pays $61 and a 512GB pays $76. Pick Faulty when you quote and nothing changes when it reaches us.
It does, and this is the one that stings on a nearly new iPad. An engraved back is Faulty, however spotless the rest of the tablet is. Apple engraves for free at checkout, so a lot of people have one and have genuinely forgotten. Turn yours over and look before you choose a grade, not after it arrives here.
Then it is Faulty. A service battery message does the same thing. That is unusual on a 2025 tablet, but it happens, and it is worth checking rather than assuming. The Faulty price is still a real payment, not a token.
Faulty. On the iPad 11 the fingerprint reader is built into the top button, so two of our rules meet at one part: a button that no longer clicks is Faulty, and a fingerprint reader that no longer recognizes your finger is Faulty. Press the button, then open the iPad with your thumb, and you have tested both in about five seconds.
Yes, at every storage size and every grade. The gap runs from about $7 on a Faulty iPad to about $31 on a sealed one, which is why the very top of our range belongs to a cellular tablet. There is no carrier lock to worry about on an iPad, so the network it was on makes no difference to us. One extra check does apply to cellular models: the IMEI has to be clean. It is in Settings, then General, then About. Note that no iPad 11 has a SIM tray, cellular or not, because this model is eSIM only, so there is no tray for us to find missing.
That one we have to pass on. A tablet with no power cannot be tested, and your information cannot be cleared off it, so any number we put on it would be a guess. Send it in anyway on a free label and we will recycle it at no charge, wiped to DoD standards on the way. Prefer it back? That is free as well.
Not while payments are still running. An iPad on a monthly plan or a lease sits under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Finish paying it off, own it outright, then quote it here like anything else.
No, and it is really two separate checks rather than one.
Activation Lock has to be off. That applies to every iPad 11, WiFi or cellular. You switch it off by signing out of your Apple account and erasing the tablet, and doing that before you mail it is the difference between getting paid and getting the iPad posted back to you.
The IMEI has to be clean, and that one applies only to WiFi + Cellular models, since a WiFi iPad 11 does not have an IMEI. Anything reported lost or stolen, or blocked by a carrier, fails there and we have to send it home.
Settings, then General, then Transfer or Reset iPad, then Erase All Content and Settings. It asks for your Apple account password, and typing that in is what actually turns Activation Lock off. Do it before the iPad leaves your hands. There is a full walkthrough on our erase your device page. We run a DoD grade wipe when it arrives too, but yours has to come off first.
Keep all of it. Accessories are not priced into the quote, so a Pencil, a keyboard folio or a case adds nothing to your payment and only gives the mail something else to lose. The iPad on its own is all we need, and you do not have to include the charging cable either.
Four ways, and you choose at checkout. A gift card is emailed and works out about 3 percent ahead of the rest, because the brands add a bonus on top. PayPal is instant, though PayPal takes a 2.99 percent fee out of it. A bank transfer lands in 2 to 4 days and a mailed check takes 3 to 5. Whichever you pick, it goes out the same day your iPad clears inspection. One exception: a sealed Brand New iPad is paid through PayPal only.
Pick your storage, pick WiFi or cellular, pick your grade. About a minute, and the price holds for 14 days.
