SELL YOUR ZENFONE 11 ULTRA
An ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra pays between $52 and $355. That is the widest spread of any ASUS phone we buy, which means the grade you pick here matters more than usual. Read the descriptions properly and the number you accept is the number that reaches your account.
Most people call this a trade-in. We call it a Buyback. The difference is that the price comes from a person here testing the phone, and then telling you exactly what they found.
Nearly everything inside a modern phone is solid state. The 50MP main camera on a Zenfone 11 Ultra is not. ASUS put the sensor on a gimbal, a small motorized cradle that tilts to cancel out your hand shake, so there is a physical assembly in there that swings. Moving parts wear, and moving parts break when the phone hits the floor.
Test it before you quote and it takes fifteen seconds. Hold the phone still, open the camera on the main lens, and watch the preview: it should sit steady rather than drift or judder. Now walk a few steps while filming. The image should smooth out rather than jump. Then hold the phone to your ear and shake it gently. A soft rattle from the camera area is the gimbal come loose. Any of those, or a main camera that will not focus at all, is a part of the phone that has failed, and that grades it Faulty.
The rest of the checks are the usual ones and they still apply. Any crack or chip, front glass, back glass or lens cover, is Faulty on its own. The screen is an LTPO AMOLED, so it can burn in, which is worth a look at a plain white screen at full brightness.
Where to sell a used Zenfone 11 Ultra is a fair question this early in its life, because plenty of buyers do not carry ASUS at all. We do, and this is the highest paying ASUS phone on our site. Working or broken, the label is free both ways, and a phone that will not power on can still be recycled at no cost.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of an ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra runs from $52 to $355. Condition drives most of that, and storage adds the rest.
Both tiers ASUS sold in the US are here. Every number is pulled live from our own price feed, so it moves when the market does.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose 256GB or 512GB and the grade. Open the camera and watch the preview hold steady first, because the gimbal is the one part on this phone that nobody thinks to test. The Buyback price you accept is held for 14 days.
A prepaid USPS label lands in your email. Sign out of your Google account, erase the phone, and pack it so it cannot shift, since a knock in transit can undo the grade you were quoted. Charger, case and box stay with you.
We inspect within 48 hours of your phone arriving, cameras included. Matches your description and the money leaves that day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every device gets a DoD-grade wipe here, bought or recycled.

ZENFONE 11 ULTRA BUYBACK QUESTIONS
This phone is new enough that a lot of them arrive Flawless, meaning no marks at all anywhere. A Flawless 256GB pays $310 and a Flawless 512GB pays $355, which is the most we pay for any ASUS phone. Light wear you would not see at arm's length drops the 512GB to $305. Put yours through the quote tool at the top for the exact figure.
Three quick checks, all on the main 50MP lens rather than the ultrawide or the telephoto.
First, hold the phone as still as you can and watch the preview. It should be steady. Drifting, twitching or a slow judder means the stabilizer is fighting something. Second, record a short video while you walk. The footage should come out noticeably smoother than your steps. Third, hold the phone near your ear and shake it lightly. A soft knocking or rattle from the camera area means the gimbal assembly has come loose, usually after a drop.
A gimbal that has failed, or a main camera that will not focus, is a part of the phone that no longer works, and on Android that means Faulty. It is a real price rather than a refusal, but it is a long way down from Flawless, so it is worth knowing before you commit to a grade.
One phone, two spellings, and both come from ASUS. This model is written Zenfone 11 Ultra with a lowercase f, while the older, much smaller ZenFone 8 uses a capital F. They are not the same device: this one is 6.78 inches and 224 grams, and the ZenFone 8 is 5.9 inches and 169 grams, so if the phone in your hand is small, you are on the wrong page. Search either spelling and you will land here, which is deliberate.
No marks at all. Not light ones, not a hairline you have to angle to the light for, none. Take the case off, clean the glass, and look at the front, the back, the frame edges and the camera surround under a bright lamp, then run a fingernail across each surface. If your nail catches anywhere, or you can see a scuff, it is Good rather than Flawless. Good is not a bad result, it is where most well cared for phones land, and being honest at this step is what keeps the quoted price and the paid price the same.
Yes. Any crack or chip, on the screen, the back glass or a camera lens cover, means Faulty even when everything still works perfectly. That is $52 on a 256GB and $61 on a 512GB. Choose Faulty when you quote and describe the damage. Nothing changes when it arrives here, and you get paid the day inspection clears.
It can. The 144Hz LTPO panel is an AMOLED, and AMOLED panels keep a faint permanent image when something sits in the same pixels long enough. Put a plain white image on screen at full brightness and look for a ghost of the status bar, the navigation bar or a keyboard. It is less likely on a phone this new than on an older one, but it is worth thirty seconds, because burn-in grades a phone Faulty however clean the rest of it is.
Faulty, same as anything else that has failed. The Android rule here is one principle rather than a list of exceptions: if something on the phone does not work, the phone is Faulty. Check the power and volume keys, the under-display fingerprint reader, the USB-C port, the 3.5 mm jack, both speakers, the mics and all three rear cameras. A couple of minutes now saves a revised offer later.
No. We have no battery percentage rule on Android phones, so there is no health figure to chase and no number you have to clear. The 5500 mAh battery in a two year old phone will still be in decent shape anyway. The only way a battery affects the grade is if it has genuinely failed, which the functionality rule already covers.
Not one of them. Only the phone is needed. Chargers, cables, the bundled case and the original packaging are not priced into any grade here, so sending them adds nothing to your payment and gives things a chance to go missing. The 65W charger in particular is worth keeping, since it will charge plenty of other things.
No price on that one. We cannot test a phone that will not power up and we cannot clear your data off it, and paying for something we cannot open is not how this works. What we can do is recycle it for free on the same prepaid label, with a DoD-grade wipe on arrival and proper disposal afterward. Or we mail it back to you, also free.
Not while the balance is open. A phone on an installment plan or a lease is under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. On a phone this recent that is a common situation, so it is worth checking before you go through the quote. Once it is paid off it prices normally.
Neither. A Google account lock, or FRP, has to be cleared by you before the phone ships, by signing out of your Google account and then erasing the phone. Locked phones cannot be purchased at any grade and get mailed back. The IMEI is a second, separate check, and it has to be clean. Lost, stolen, blacklisted or carrier blocked all fail it.
ASUS sold this phone unlocked and direct rather than through carrier stores, so the numbers above are unlocked numbers and that is what nearly every US owner has. Pick unlocked when you quote, whatever SIM has been in it. Nothing on the carrier side of our pricing for this model comes in above the table.
It is worth checking on a phone this recent, because carrier offers are strongest on newer handsets. Two things to weigh though. Their number usually arrives as bill credit spread across 24 months, and it holds only while that line stays open, so it is not really cash. And many carriers do not list ASUS at all, which leaves you with nothing to compare. Ours is one payment, the day your phone clears inspection. Get their figure, look at the table, take the better one.
Erasing: Settings, then System, then Reset options, then Erase all data. Sign out of your Google account first, because that is what clears the lock. Your photos, messages and saved passwords are erased and cannot be recovered. Step by step version on our erase your device page.
Payment: four options at checkout. A gift card is emailed and comes out about 3 percent above the others because brands add a bonus, which is real money at this price level. PayPal is instant, less PayPal's 2.99 percent. Bank transfer is 2 to 4 days, a check 3 to 5. All of them leave the same day inspection clears, and a sealed Brand New phone is PayPal only.
Pick 256GB or 512GB, check the camera holds steady, then choose your grade. About a minute, held for 14 days.
