SELL YOUR NOKIA XR20
A Nokia XR20 pays between $2 and $20 here. That is small money and we are not going to dress it up as anything else. It is a 2021 phone with a low ceiling. The quote takes about a minute and the postage costs you nothing.
Most people call it a trade-in. We call it a Buyback, and the difference shows up in the number, because a person here checks every phone by hand rather than a machine guessing at it.
Nokia sold the XR20 on toughness. MIL-STD-810H drop testing, IP68 sealing against dust and water, Gorilla Glass Victus on the front, and 248 grams of phone because of all of it. Every one of those ratings describes what the XR20 was built to survive. None of them describe what yours looks like today, and the grade is about today.
So do this before you pick anything. Hold the phone under a lamp and run a fingernail around the raised lip that stands proud of the screen, then over each of the four corner bumpers. That lip and those corners are what meets the ground first, which is exactly what they are for, and they are where an XR20 chips. If your nail catches on a chip anywhere, screen, back, lens cover or corner, the phone grades Faulty. Any crack does the same, working or not. Faulty is a price on this page and not a refusal.
One test you can skip. The XR20 screen is an IPS LCD, not an OLED, so it cannot burn in. If you have read about ghosted clocks and navigation bars on other Android pages, that rule does not reach this phone.
Where to sell a used Nokia XR20 comes down to who still quotes one at all. We do, working or broken. If it will not power on we cannot buy it, but we will recycle it for free and wipe it on the way. Shipping is free whichever way it goes.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of a Nokia XR20 runs from $2 at the bottom of this table to $20 at the top. Storage and wear are the only two things that move it.
Every figure below is pulled live from our own price feed. Only the 128GB Nokia XR20 is carrying a price today, which is why there is one column, and there is an answer further down about the 64GB version.
| Comparison row | 128GB |
|---|---|
Brand New | $20 |
Flawless | $20 |
Good | $10 |
Average | $6 |
Fair | $2 |
Faulty | $5 |
HOW IT WORKS
Pick 128GB and the grade that matches the wear. Run your fingernail around the raised lip and the four corners first, because a chip you did not spot is the difference between two grades. The Buyback price you accept is held for 14 days.
We email you a prepaid USPS label. Sign out of your Google account so the phone is not locked when it lands, erase it, then box it. The charger, the case and the original box all stay with you. Nothing is required in the box.
Your XR20 clears inspection within 48 hours of arriving. If it matches what you told us, the money leaves the same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every phone gets a DoD-grade wipe, whether we buy it or recycle it.

NOKIA XR20 BUYBACK QUESTIONS
Most XR20s that reach us land in Average, which means light wear you cannot feel when you drag a fingernail over it. A 128GB in that state pays $6. Tidier than that, with wear you have to hunt for at arm's length, and it is Good at $10. A sealed one nobody has activated pays $20. Use the quote tool at the top of the page for the exact figure on yours.
Because it is not carrying a price today. Nokia genuinely built a 4GB and 64GB XR20, so it is a real phone and not a mistake in our menu, but every 64GB row in our feed currently reads zero. We have flagged it. Until it is fixed, the number you would be quoted for a 64GB XR20 is nothing, which is not an offer worth mailing a phone for. If yours is the 64GB one, check back, or ask us and we will tell you where it stands.
No, and this is the thing owners of this phone get wrong most often. A toughness rating is a promise about what the XR20 can live through, not a promise about what it looks like afterward. We grade the phone in front of us. A drop that the XR20 walked away from still counts if it left a chip in the corner bumper or a scuff you can feel. The ratings are why your phone still works after four years of being dropped. They do not add a dollar to the grade.
Yes. Any crack or any chip puts the phone into Faulty, which pays $5 on a 128GB. There is no argument about it and no borderline version of it, and it applies even when the phone works perfectly. Choose Faulty when you quote and nothing changes when it reaches us. What we do not want is a phone described as clean that arrives with a chipped bumper, because then we have to come back to you and you wait longer for your money.
It cannot. Burn-in is an OLED problem, and the XR20 uses an IPS LCD. There is no ghost image test to run on this phone. If you see a mark that stays on screen no matter what is displayed, that is a fault in the panel rather than burn-in, and a faulty panel grades Faulty like any other broken part.
Then it grades Faulty. Our rule on Android phones is a principle rather than a checklist: if something on the phone does not work, the phone is Faulty. That covers a power button that has gone mushy, an ear speaker you cannot hear a call through, a mic nobody can hear you on, a charging port that only works at an angle, and a side fingerprint reader that no longer recognizes your thumb. Test them in a couple of minutes before you quote. It is a price, not a rejection.
There is no battery percentage rule on this phone. We do not ask you to find a battery health screen and we do not grade on a number. The only way the 4630 mAh battery affects your grade is if it genuinely does not work, meaning it will not hold a charge or the phone dies with plenty left showing, and at that point it is caught by the same rule that catches any other broken part. A battery that is simply older than it used to be is fine.
That one we cannot buy, and the reason is practical rather than fussy. A phone with no power cannot be tested, and your data cannot be cleared off it, so we will not put a price on something we cannot open. What we can do is take it for free recycling. Mail it on the same free label, we wipe it to DoD standards and dispose of it properly. If you would rather have it back, that return is free too.
Three different situations, and two of them are a no.
A Google account lock or an FRP lock has to be off. Sign out of your Google account and erase the phone before you mail it. A locked XR20 cannot be purchased at any grade, and it just gets mailed back to you.
Blacklisted, reported lost or stolen, or blocked by a carrier is also a no. The IMEI has to be clean before we can pay for the phone.
Money still owed on it is a wait rather than a no. We do not purchase devices under financial obligations, so a phone on an installment plan or a lease has to be cleared first. Pay it off and it quotes like any other XR20.
Open Settings, then About phone, and read the model line. TA-1362 and TA-1368 are both a Nokia XR20 and both quote on this page at the same price. The number reflects which regional version Nokia built, nothing more. If your model number starts with something other than TA, you are holding a different phone and this is not the page for it.
Nokia sold the XR20 unlocked and direct in the US, which is why the prices here are the unlocked ones. If you bought yours through a carrier, quote it as unlocked, mail it in, and we will check it here. Where a carrier version does carry its own price it is never higher than the unlocked figure on this page, so nobody loses out by quoting from this table.
Almost never on a phone this old, because carriers put their strongest offers on current flagships and put the XR20 in the pile everything else goes in. Their number also usually arrives as bill credit spread across two years rather than money you can spend, and it is tied to you staying on that plan. Ours is cash, or a gift card, or a bank transfer, and it is yours the day the phone clears inspection. Get their figure, look at the table above, then pick. If theirs is genuinely bigger, take it.
No. Nothing is required in the box beyond the phone itself. Accessories are not priced into any grade, so a charger, a rugged case or the original packaging adds nothing to what you are paid and only gives something the chance to go missing in the mail. Send the XR20 on its own and keep the rest.
You pick the method when you check out. A gift card is emailed and comes out roughly 3 percent ahead of the others, because the brands add a bonus on top. PayPal lands instantly, minus PayPal's own 2.99 percent fee. A bank transfer takes 2 to 4 days, a mailed check takes 3 to 5. Whichever you choose, it goes out the same day your XR20 clears inspection. One exception: a sealed Brand New phone is paid through PayPal only.
Open Settings, tap System, then Reset options, then Erase all data. Sign out of your Google account first, because that is what actually clears the lock. Do it while the phone is still with you rather than hoping we can. There is a full walkthrough on our erase your device page. We run a DoD-grade wipe on arrival as well, on every phone, including the ones we recycle rather than buy.
Pick your storage and the grade that matches the wear. It takes about a minute, and we hold the price for 14 days.
