Wear decides it, because there is only one storage size. Heavy wear you can feel with a fingernail, but no cracks, is Fair, and that pays $4. Light wear you cannot feel is Average at $5. Light wear that is invisible when someone hands it to you at arm's length is Good at $6. Most Xperia 10s that have been carried since 2019 land in the middle of that.

Measure it. The Xperia 10 is 156 mm tall with a 6.0 inch screen. The Plus is 167 mm with a 6.5 inch screen, which is a full centimeter of difference and obvious once you know. No. Scuffs and dents are wear, and wear moves you down the grades rather than off the bottom of them. Only a crack forces Faulty, and on a plastic back a crack looks like a split, usually starting at a corner or running along the seam where the panel meets the side rail.

Tell them apart with a fingernail. A scuff glides. A dent dips and the nail keeps moving. A split catches and holds. This is worth 30 seconds, because sellers regularly grade a dented Xperia 10 as Faulty when it was Fair, and that is money they did not have to give up.

Yes. A crack or a chip anywhere, front glass, back panel or camera window, grades the phone Faulty, and Faulty on this model pays $1. That is a price, not a refusal. Pick Faulty when you quote and nothing changes when the phone reaches us. Being straight with you: at that number, the reason to send it is usually getting it wiped and recycled properly rather than the cash.

It cannot. Burn-in happens to OLED panels, where each dot makes its own light and ages with use. The Xperia 10 uses an LCD with a backlight behind it, and an LCD has nothing to burn. So there is no ghost-image test to run on this phone and no reason to grade yourself down for one. The later Xperia 10 II and 10 III did switch to OLED, and on those it matters.

What does count is the phone failing to work. If it dies before lunch off a full charge, switches off while the icon still shows charge, or only runs with the cable in, that is the phone not working, and anything that does not work grades Faulty.

We cannot buy that one. With no power we cannot test it and we cannot clear your data off it, and we will not put a price on a phone we have not been able to check. No. Nothing is required in the box. Accessories are not priced into an Xperia 10 quote, so a charger, a cable, a case or the original packaging adds nothing and only risks getting lost in transit.
