A Pixel 7 is worth between $11 and $95 here. Most people call this a trade-in. We call it a Buyback because the money is yours to spend anywhere, and every price in between those two sits in the grid below.
Pick your payout when you accept the quote. A gift card comes by email and averages about 3 percent above the cash number, since the brands add a bonus of their own. PayPal is instant and PayPal charges 2.99 percent for that. A bank transfer lands in 2 to 4 days, a check in 3 to 5. Only a sealed phone is restricted, and that one is PayPal only.
Now the useful part, which is telling a Pixel 7 from a Pixel 6 in about two seconds. Turn the phone over and look at the bar across the back. On the Pixel 6 that bar is glass, the same glass as the rest of the back. On the Pixel 7 it is polished metal, continuous with the frame around the edge, with the two lenses sitting behind a glass window set into it.
That change matters for your grade, because metal and glass fail differently. Scuffs, scratches and dull patches on the metal bar are wear. They move you down the grades but they do not break anything. The glass window is the part that grades a phone Faulty, and it takes a chip from the smallest drop. Run a fingernail across it. Anything that catches counts, even if you cannot see it under a lamp.
Average is where most of these land, meaning light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail. Choose your row from what the phone actually looks like rather than what you remember buying, and the quote will not change when it gets here.
Google supports this phone with updates until October 2027, five years from launch. After that it still works, but it stops being worth what it is worth today, and a drawer pays nothing in the meantime. Postage is free in both directions. A Pixel 7 that will not power on is one we cannot buy, because we cannot test it or wipe your data off it, so we offer free recycling or a free trip back instead. Erase it properly before either happens.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose 128GB or 256GB, then the carrier, then the grade. Before you choose the grade, put a fingernail across the camera window and look at the screen with the brightness up. Those two checks find the chip and the burn-in that would otherwise turn a good phone into a Faulty one after it arrives. For the carrier, look in Settings under Network and internet, or ask the network that bills you. The number you accept is locked for 14 days.
A prepaid USPS label arrives by email, so the shipping costs you nothing. Sign out of your Google account before you reset the phone, not after. Settings, Passwords and accounts, remove the account, then Settings, System, Reset options. Pull the SIM out, leave the tray in, and keep the cable and the case. We do not pay extra for a box or a charger and we do not want you to lose them.
A person checks your Pixel 7 by hand, within 48 hours of it reaching the building. Matching phones are paid the same day, by whichever method you picked. If the grade turns out different we tell you what we found, in plain words, and you can accept the new number or have the phone mailed back free. Every device is wiped to Department of Defense standards here, bought or not.

PIXEL 7 BUYBACK QUESTIONS
A 256GB in Average condition is $66. Move up to Good and it is $75. A 128GB with a cracked screen is $11. The quote tool at the top of this page gives you the exact figure for your phone in under a minute.
Look at the camera bar. Glass, with the same finish as the rest of the back, means Pixel 6. Polished metal that runs into the frame means Pixel 7. The Pixel 7 is also slightly smaller at 6.3 inches against 6.4, which nobody can judge by eye, so use the bar. Settings, About phone, Model settles it: a US Pixel 7 reads GQML3 or GVU6C.
Yes, and it is a price rather than a refusal. All three are the same answer though: any crack or chip grades the phone Faulty, which on a 256GB is $15 and on a 128GB is $11. Tell us up front and that is the number you get. Hide it and we find it in inspection anyway, which only costs you time.
No. Scuffs and scratches on the aluminum are wear, and wear is what the grades between Flawless and Fair exist to describe. The bar sticks out further than anything else on the back, so it collects marks first and it looks worse than it is. What we care about is the glass window with the lenses behind it. Metal marked, glass intact, and you are still in the normal grades.
There is no such rule here on any Android phone, so stop hunting for the screen that shows it. The Pixel does not report battery health as a percentage anyway. What counts is whether the phone works: if it will not hold a charge well enough to be used, that is a functionality issue and it grades Faulty. Short battery life on its own does not change your grade.
Burn-in is Faulty. This is an OLED panel and OLED wears where the picture never moves, so the clock and the status bar at the top are where it shows up first on a Pixel. The full self-test, and the list of things that look like burn-in but are not, is written out on the Pixel 6 page. It applies here unchanged.
Then it is Faulty. The rule on Android phones is broad and simple: anything on the phone that does not do its job puts the phone in the bottom grade, and the biometrics count. Test it by adding a new fingerprint in Settings, Security and privacy. If the phone will not enroll one, the reader is the problem rather than your thumb.
It does. Unlocked pays the most on the Pixel 7 at both storage sizes and every grade, and a phone tied to AT&T, T-Mobile or Verizon pays less. Choose the truth in the quote tool, because the lock is one of the things we check. If your carrier will release the phone before you mail it, that is worth doing first.
No, not while there is a balance. A phone on an installment plan or a lease is under a financial obligation and we do not purchase those. Once it is paid off it is an ordinary phone and quotes like one.
Both stop the sale outright, and neither is fixable at our end. A blacklisted or carrier blocked IMEI means the phone cannot be reactivated by anyone. A phone that still asks for the last owner's Google details after a reset is locked by Google, not by us. Remove your account before you reset and neither one happens to you.
We cannot buy a phone we cannot power up. Without power there is no way to test it and no way to clear your data, and we will not pay for something we cannot check. Send it anyway if you want it gone: recycling is free, the wipe happens regardless, and if you would rather have it back we mail it back for nothing.
No. Every color pays the same. The Lemongrass one is the rarest and it still pays the same. Storage, grade and carrier are the whole calculation.
Both are US Pixel 7s and both are worth the same, so you do not have to decide anything. Read it in Settings, About phone, Model. Google prints it on the box rather than on the phone itself, which is no help years later when the box is long gone. A GO3Z5 is the Japanese model and we buy that one too.
Keep them. Nothing in the box changes the price, and Google did not include a charger with the Pixel 7 in the first place. No Pixel has ever come with a stylus, so there is nothing like that to hunt for either. Take the SIM card out, leave the empty tray in the phone, and send the phone on its own.
Remove your Google account first: Settings, Passwords and accounts, tap the account, remove it. Then Settings, System, Reset options, Erase all data. In that order the phone starts up clean for the next owner. Our erase guide has the same steps with pictures. Everything gets wiped again here to Department of Defense standards, so your photos, messages and saved passwords are erased and cannot be recovered.
