SELL YOUR PIXEL 6A
A Pixel 6a is worth between $10 and $63. Small money, honestly stated. It is a budget phone from 2022, and it is still worth more than the nothing it earns in a drawer. Most people say trade-in. We say Buyback, and you get paid in cash rather than credit.
The Pixel 6a is the one in this family whose back is not glass. It is a composite panel, which is a polite way of saying good plastic, and that changes what damage on this phone looks like.
Plastic scuffs, scratches and takes small dents. Glass cracks and chips. That distinction is the difference between a normal grade and the bottom one, because scuffs and scratches are wear and they belong in the middle of our table, while a crack or a chip in glass grades a phone Faulty outright.
Which leaves one part of the back to worry about. The camera bar has a strip of glass over the two lenses, and on this phone it is the only glass back there. Run a fingernail across it, corner to corner. A chip stops your nail. A scratch in the coating does not. Do the same over the screen, which is glass on any phone, and you have checked everything on a Pixel 6a that can send it to Faulty.
Average is where most of these land: light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail. If you can feel the marks, that is Fair, and it is better to say so and be paid the number we quoted than to guess high.
Google promised five years of updates from July 2022, so this phone has support into July 2027 and a price that keeps sliding until then. Shipping is free in both directions. If it will not power on we cannot buy it, because we cannot test it and cannot clear your data, but free recycling with a full wipe is always on the table. Erase it and sign out of Google before it goes.
LIVE PRICES
The used resale value of a Pixel 6a runs from $10 for a cracked one up to $63 for a sealed one. A used Pixel 6a in Average condition is $44, and in Good condition it is $50.
Google made the Pixel 6a in one storage size, so this table is six grades and one column. The figures are unlocked and come straight from our live feed.
| Comparison row | 128GB |
|---|---|
Brand New | $63 |
Flawless | $60 |
Good | $50 |
Average | $44 |
Fair | $30 |
Faulty | $10 |
HOW IT WORKS
There is only one storage size, so you choose the carrier and the grade. Before the grade, drag a nail across the glass over the camera bar and across the screen, and look at the screen on white for a ghost of the clock. Scuffs on the plastic back are wear rather than damage, so do not let them scare you into a lower row. Accept the price and it stands for 14 days.
Print the prepaid USPS label from your email. First remove your Google account, in Settings, Passwords and accounts, then factory reset from Settings, System, Reset options. In that order the phone arrives clear. Reversed, it arrives locked and we cannot buy it. Pull the SIM card, leave the tray behind, keep the cable. Nothing in the box adds to your price.
A person checks it by hand inside 48 hours of arrival. If it is what you described, the money goes out that day: gift card at about 3 percent more, PayPal instantly minus PayPal's 2.99 percent, bank transfer in 2 to 4 days, check in 3 to 5. If we find something different we say what we found, and free return is always an option. Every phone is wiped to Department of Defense standards here.

PIXEL 6A BUYBACK QUESTIONS
In Average condition, $44. In Good condition, $50. Cracked, $10. One storage size means your grade and your carrier are the only two things that decide it.
No. The back is composite rather than glass, so it scuffs and scratches instead of cracking, and scuffs are wear. Wear moves you between Flawless, Good, Average and Fair, which is what those grades are for. Faulty is for cracks and chips, and for anything that has stopped working.
The screen, and the strip over the two lenses in the camera bar. That is it on the back. Which is why the check on this phone is short: a fingernail across the camera glass, a fingernail across the screen, and a look at the screen on a white background. If nothing catches and nothing ghosts, you are in the normal grades.
Tap the back. Plastic means 6a, glass means Pixel 6. The 6a is smaller too, 6.1 inches against 6.4, and it is the lighter of the pair at 178 grams. If you want proof, Settings, About phone, Model reads GB62Z or GX7AS on a US Pixel 6a.
Yes. Cracked glass grades the phone Faulty, and Faulty here pays $10. It is a low number and we are not going to pretend otherwise, but it is real money and the postage is still free. If you would rather not sell it at that price, we will recycle it for nothing or send it back.
No. That rule belongs to iPhones and it does not apply to Android phones here at all. There is no percentage to check and no screen on the Pixel that shows one. A battery only matters if it has failed badly enough to stop the phone working properly, and then the phone is Faulty like anything else that does not work.
Yes. The screen is OLED, and burn-in grades the phone Faulty. Four years of the same status bar at the top is enough time for it to happen. The white screen test, with the list of things that only look like burn-in, is written out on the Pixel 6 page and works exactly the same here.
Nothing is broken. Google left wireless charging off this model altogether, so a 6a that will not charge on a pad is behaving normally. The 7a is the one that added it. What does matter is the USB-C port: if the cable has to be held at an angle to charge, that is a functionality issue and it grades Faulty.
It does. Unlocked pays the most at every grade on the Pixel 6a, and AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon versions come in below it. Choose honestly, since the lock is one of the first things checked here. If the phone came from the Google Store it is unlocked.
Not yet. A phone with an installment plan or a lease running on it is under a financial obligation and cannot be purchased. Clear the balance with the carrier and it becomes an ordinary sale.
Neither one can be bought, at any grade. A blacklisted or carrier blocked IMEI cannot be activated again by anyone. A phone still asking for the previous Google account after a reset is locked at Google's end. Sign out first and the reset leaves it clean for the next owner.
No, we cannot buy it. Without power there is no way to test the phone and no way to wipe your information off it, and paying for an untested phone is not something we do. Free recycling with a full wipe is the alternative, or a free return if you would rather have it back.
No. All three colors pay the same, and always have. Grade and carrier are the only variables on this model.
Both are US Pixel 6a codes and both are worth the same, so you do not need to tell them apart. Look in Settings, About phone, Model. Google prints the code on the box, which by now is usually long gone. A G1AZG is the same phone from another region and we buy those too.
Remove your Google account first, in Settings, Passwords and accounts. Then Settings, System, Reset options, Erase all data. Our erase page has it step by step. Then we wipe it again on arrival, to Department of Defense standards, so your photos, messages and saved passwords are erased and cannot be recovered.
Carrier and grade, that is all it asks. About a minute, and the price holds for 14 days.
