A Pixel 6 Pro is worth between $14 and $131 here. Call it a trade-in if you like, everyone does. We call it a Buyback and we pay it in cash, by gift card, by bank transfer or by check, whichever suits you.
Start with the screen, because this is the phone where the screen is the whole grading story. The Pixel 6 Pro has a curved display: the glass rolls over the two long edges instead of stopping flat. It looked expensive in 2021 and it still does, and it is also the reason so many of these arrive with damage the owner honestly did not see.
A curved edge hides a chip. Looking straight down at a phone lying on a table, you see the flat middle and almost none of the curve, so the light never catches the damaged part. The fix is to change the angle rather than to look harder. Hold the phone under a lamp and roll it slowly along its length, watching the reflection travel down the curve. Then run a fingernail from the top corner to the bottom on each long edge. A chip catches your nail. A scuff does not.
Why it matters: any crack or chip in the glass sends the phone to the bottom grade, however well it works. Finding it now is worth doing, because the grade you pick is the price you get, and the grade we find is the price we pay.
Good is the realistic target for a phone from 2021 that has lived in a case, and it means light wear nobody notices at arm's length. Anything better than that is rare on a five year old handset and we would rather you knew.
The timing part is real on this one. Google promised five years of updates from launch in October 2021, so this phone's security updates stop in October 2026. It will keep working. It will not keep being worth this much. Selling it now, while it still gets patches, is worth more than selling it next year, and the postage is free either way. Erase it before you box it, and if it will not power on at all we cannot buy it, though we will recycle it for nothing and wipe it on arrival.

HOW IT WORKS
Pick 128GB, 256GB or 512GB, then the carrier, then the grade. Roll the phone under a lamp and run a nail down both curved edges before you decide on the grade, because that is where the chips hide on this model. If you are unsure about the carrier, look at who sends you the bill, or check Settings, Network and internet, SIMs. The price you accept is held for 14 days.
Print the prepaid USPS label we email you. Before it goes in the box, sign out of Google: Settings, Passwords and accounts, remove your account, then Settings, System, Reset options, Erase all data. Sequence first, reset second. Take the SIM out and leave the tray in the phone. A case is free protection in the mail, but we cannot pay for the case, the cable or the box.
Somebody here opens the box, checks the phone by hand and finishes within 48 hours of it landing. Payment follows the same day when the phone matches the description. If it does not, we tell you exactly what we found and you decide: take the revised number or have it mailed back at our cost. Wiping to Department of Defense standards happens either way.

PIXEL 6 PRO BUYBACK QUESTIONS
A 512GB in Good condition is $110. A 256GB in Average condition is $79. A 128GB with a cracked screen is $14. Run the quote at the top of the page for the exact number on your phone.
Feel the long edges of the screen. The Pro's glass curves over them; the Pixel 6 is flat. Then count the lenses in the bar: three on the Pro, two on the Pixel 6, because only the Pro has the 4x telephoto. The Pro is 6.7 inches to the Pixel 6's 6.4. Look at the camera bar. On the 6 Pro it is glass, matching the back. On the Pixel 7 Pro it is polished metal that joins the frame. The zoom is the other tell, 4x here against 5x there. Both are 6.7 inch curved phones, so the bar is the quickest answer.
It does. A chip is broken glass, and any crack or chip anywhere on the phone grades it Faulty, which on a 512GB is $22 and on a 128GB is $14. Edge chips are the ones that get missed on this model, so check before you pick a grade rather than after. Telling us up front costs you nothing extra.
No. That is an iPhone rule and it has never applied to Android phones here. Your Pixel does not show a health percentage anyway, so there is no figure to chase. The only battery question that matters is whether the phone still works properly on it. If it does not, the phone is Faulty, the same as any other fault.
Yes, and it is an automatic Faulty. This panel is OLED, it is five years old, and the clock and status bar have been in the same place the whole time, which is exactly how a ghost gets baked in. The self-test, and the list of things people mistake for burn-in, is on the Pixel 6 page. It is worth five minutes before you choose your grade.
Then it grades Faulty, because on Android phones anything that has stopped working takes the phone to the bottom grade. Before you assume the worst, delete your saved fingerprints in Settings, Security and privacy and add a new one. Plenty of readers on this model are slow rather than broken, and a fresh enrollment often fixes the slowness. If it will not enroll at all, the reader has failed.
It does, and unlocked is the top of every column on this phone. AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon versions all pay less, at each of the three storage sizes. Choose your real network in the quote tool. We check the lock on arrival, so a guess helps nobody.
No, not while a balance is outstanding. Phones on installment plans or leases are under a financial obligation and we cannot purchase them. Once the plan is settled, quote it again and it prices like any other Pixel 6 Pro.
Either one and we cannot buy it, at any grade and at any price. A blacklisted or carrier blocked IMEI cannot be used by anybody again. A phone still asking for the previous Google account after a reset is locked by Google. Remove the account first and the reset leaves it clean.
Not for money. A phone we cannot power up is a phone we cannot test and cannot wipe, and we will not buy something we cannot check. Free recycling is the alternative, with a full wipe included, or we will send it straight back at no charge if you would rather keep it.

G8V0U, and that is the only one. Google used a single US code for the Pixel 6 Pro, unlike most of the family, so if the phone was bought here that is what Settings, About phone, Model will say. Codes like GLU0G and GF5KQ belong to other regions and we buy those on the same terms.
Keep them all. Google did not include a wall charger with the Pixel 6 Pro, and no accessory changes the quote in any case. Send the phone alone, SIM card removed, empty tray still in place. No Pixel takes a stylus, so there is nothing else to look for.
Remove the Google account first, in Settings, Passwords and accounts. Then Settings, System, Reset options, Erase all data. Doing it that way round is what stops the phone arriving locked.
