It is the question we get asked most on this model, because the OnePlus 12R and the OnePlus 12 came out weeks apart and look like the same phone from a distance. Open Settings, then About device. CPH2611 is the 12R. CPH2583 is the 12. The camera ring settles it too: the 12 has Hasselblad written around it and the 12R has nothing written there.
That leads straight to the two things people mistake for faults on this phone. A 12R has no Hasselblad branding, and a 12R does not charge on a wireless pad, because OnePlus never gave it wireless charging. Neither of those is broken. Neither costs you a grade. Do not mark yourself down for hardware your phone was never sold with.
What does cost you is damage and things that have stopped working. Any crack or chip, on the screen, the back or a lens cover, is Faulty even if the phone runs perfectly. The 6.78 inch panel is AMOLED, so it can burn in, and burn-in is Faulty as well. Turn the brightness up in a dim room, put a plain white screen on it, and look for a ghost of the clock or the navigation bar before you pick a grade.

Check the model number in Settings first, then pick 128GB or 256GB and the grade that matches the wear. An unmarked phone that has been out of its box is Flawless rather than Brand New, and on this model that is the row most sellers belong in. Your Buyback price holds for 14 days.
We send a prepaid USPS label by email. Sign out of your Google account, then erase the phone, in that order. Leave the 80W charger, the cable and the case at home. They add nothing to the price and there is no reason to risk them.
Your 12R is inspected within 48 hours of arriving. If it is what you told us it was, the money goes out that same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every phone gets a Department of Defense grade wipe, whether we buy it or recycle it.

If you would rather not go digging, look at the camera ring: the 12 has Hasselblad printed on it and the 12R does not. One more check that takes five seconds is a wireless charging pad, since the 12 charges on one and the 12R cannot. Getting it right matters because the two are priced separately. Quote the wrong one and we simply re-quote it at the correct price when it lands, which is a slower way to find out.
No, and this is the single most common worry we hear on this model. The OnePlus 12R has no wireless charging hardware at all. It never did. A 12R that ignores a charging pad is behaving exactly as built, and it does not affect your grade by one cent. Charge it with the cable and move on.
It does not. OnePlus kept the Hasselblad partnership for the numbered flagships, so the 12 carries the branding and the 12R does not. A bare ring is what a real 12R looks like. It is not a sign of a replaced part, it is not damage, and the prices on this page are built for exactly that phone.
Yes, and it grades Faulty, which is a price rather than a rejection. A 256GB pays $34 in that state and a 128GB pays $27. The same answer covers a chipped back, a chipped frame and a chip in any of the three lens covers. Choose Faulty when you quote and nothing changes at inspection.
Yes, because the panel is AMOLED, and burn-in is an automatic Faulty. Do the check in a dim room with brightness turned all the way up: a plain white screen, looked at across the surface, will show a faint clock, status icons or navigation bar if the phone has burned in. Those shapes live in the same pixels every day, which is why they are the ones that stick. A single dead pixel is not burn-in, and a slight color change when you tilt the phone is normal for AMOLED.
Light wear you cannot make out from arm's length. Flawless above it means genuinely no marks. Average below it is light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail, and Fair is heavier wear you can feel, still with no cracks or chips. Brand New is sealed and never switched on. Faulty is anything cracked, chipped or not working. Look at it in daylight with the screen off, which is where marks show up.
No. Android phones have no battery percentage rule with us, so there is no figure to find and no screen to check. If the battery has actually stopped working, that is caught by the rule that covers everything else that has stopped working, and it grades Faulty. A battery that simply does not last as long as it used to is not a fault and does not move your price.
Not for cash. A phone with no power cannot be tested and your data cannot be wiped off it, and we will not buy blind on either count. Free recycling is on the table instead: send it on a free label and it gets the same Department of Defense wipe as everything else. Ask for it back and that is free as well.
Clear the balance first. A phone on an installment plan or a lease is still tied to that agreement, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Once it is fully yours the quote runs exactly as it does for anybody else.
A Google account lock or an FRP lock means nobody else can set the phone up, so we cannot buy it at any grade until it is cleared. You clear it by signing out of your Google account and then erasing the phone. A phone reported lost or stolen, blacklisted, or blocked by a carrier is a different matter and we have to decline it, since that flag stays with the phone.
Compare the two properly before choosing. Carrier offers usually come as bill credit spread across two or three years, attached to a new line and a new phone, so it is not money you can spend today. A 256GB 12R with no marks pays $200 here as cash, locked for 14 days. If the carrier beats that in real terms, take the carrier. We would rather you ran the numbers.
