Read the camera ring: the 12 has Hasselblad written on it, the 12R has nothing there. It can, and burn-in is an automatic Faulty, so check before you quote rather than after. Full brightness, dim room, plain white image, then look across the panel at a shallow angle for a shadow of the clock, the status icons or the navigation bar. Those three shapes sit in the same pixels every day, which is why they are what burns in. A single stuck pixel is not burn-in, and neither is a color shift that only appears when you tilt the phone.

Light wear that you cannot pick out from arm's length. Flawless is no marks at all. Average is light wear you cannot feel when you run a fingernail over it. Fair is heavier wear that you can feel, with no cracks and no chips anywhere. Brand New means still sealed. Faulty is the catch-all for cracks, chips and anything that has stopped working. Judge it in daylight, on a clean screen, and be honest with yourself, because we grade it the same way when it arrives.

No. That rule belongs to iPhones and it does not apply here. No Android phone we buy has a battery percentage rule, so there is nothing to look up and no screen to photograph. A battery only affects your OnePlus 12 if it has genuinely failed, and at that point it is covered by the same rule as anything else that has stopped working.

No. Nothing needs to be in the box. The 80W charger, the cable, the case in the retail packaging and the packaging itself are not priced into your quote. Sending them adds nothing and gives them a chance to disappear on the way. The phone on its own is exactly right.

Sometimes the headline number looks bigger, so check what the number actually is. Carrier offers usually arrive as monthly bill credit over two or three years, and usually need a new line and a new phone on contract. That is not cash and it is not now.
