Give it a minute under a lamp. Hold the phone up and rotate it slowly so the light rakes along each curved edge, then along the outside corner of the camera block. A chip in a curved surface catches the light and throws a bright spark, which is why this works better than looking at it straight on. Run a fingernail after your eyes: anything that catches is a chip. A chip anywhere is Faulty, no matter how well the phone works.

Yes. Cracked or chipped means Faulty, and Faulty is a price rather than a refusal. A 256GB in that state pays $18 and a 128GB pays $17. The rule is the same for the back glass, the frame and the lens covers. Choose Faulty at the quote step and nothing changes when the phone reaches us.
Yes, because the panel is AMOLED, and burn-in is an automatic Faulty. On a phone this old it is worth the two minutes. Brightness to maximum, dim room, plain white image, and look across the screen at a shallow angle for a ghost of the clock, the status icons or the navigation bar. Those shapes never move, which is why they wear the pixels underneath them. A single stuck pixel is not burn-in, and neither is a color shift you only see off-angle.
Look at the side of the phone above the power button. The 10 Pro has the alert slider there, a small switch with three positions. The 10T has nothing there at all. The backs differ too: the 10 Pro camera block carries Hasselblad branding and the 10T does not. If you want certainty, Settings then About device reads NE2215 or NE2217 for the US 10 Pro, and CPH2417 for the 10T. They are separate products with separate prices, so it is worth the ten seconds.
Light wear you cannot see from arm's length. Flawless above it means no marks at all. Average is light wear you cannot feel with a fingernail, and Fair is heavier wear you can feel, still with no cracks or chips. Brand New is sealed and never switched on. Faulty covers cracks, chips and anything that has stopped working. Grade it with the screen off, in daylight, which is where scratches show up.
No. There is no battery percentage rule on any Android phone we buy, so there is no health screen to open and no figure to send us. A four year old 10 Pro that does not hold a charge like it used to is worth exactly what a fresh one at the same grade is worth. Only a battery that has genuinely stopped working affects the grade, and that is covered by the rule for anything that has failed.
It does. Slide it through all three positions and watch the phone respond, from ring through vibrate to silent. If it will not move, or moves without changing anything, that is a control that has stopped working, and anything that has stopped working grades Faulty on Android. Better to find it now than to have inspection find it for you.
Not for money. With no power there is nothing to test and no way to clear your data off it, and we will not skip either. Not while the lock is on it, and clearing it is something only you can do. A Google account lock or FRP lock stops the next owner setting the phone up, so it cannot be resold at any grade.
