SELL YOUR GALAXY TAB S9 PLUS
A Galaxy Tab S9 Plus pays between $46 and $318. Capacity, connectivity and wear decide the rest. Quoting one takes about a minute and the figure you accept is held for 14 days.
The S Pen comes first, because it is the one thing that can undo everything else. A Tab S9 Plus without its pen grades Faulty and prices on the bottom row. Not a step down, the bottom. Samsung put that pen in the box, so a tablet arriving alone is missing a part rather than missing an extra.
Most people call it a trade-in. We call it a Buyback. A carrier gives you credit you can only spend with the carrier. We send you money.
The Tab S9 generation is where Samsung started making its flagship tablets water resistant, and this one is rated IP68: dust tight, and tested in fresh water at up to 1.5 meters for half an hour. It is a genuinely useful thing to own. It is also the most misread number on the spec sheet.
A rating describes a sealed tablet, brand new, in a lab, in clean water. Yours has been opened to the weather for two or three years, and seals get older the way everything else does. Pool water, sea water and hot soapy water are outside what was tested. So the rating is not a promise that your tablet came through it.
That is why we do not grade water damage as its own thing. We grade what the water broke, and any part that has stopped working puts a Samsung tablet in Faulty. If yours has been for a swim, spend two minutes here. Play a song and listen at each of the four speaker grilles in turn, since a drowned speaker crackles or goes quiet. Hold the rear camera glass up to a bright light and look for mist or a droplet trapped behind it. Record a voice memo and play it back. Plug in a charger and watch it actually charge. Four passes, four ways water shows up later.
WiFi + Cellular tablets pay about thirty dollars more than WiFi ones here at the top, and more than WiFi at every grade. The table below shows WiFi prices. If you are not certain which Tab S9 you have, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus is the same size and shape as this one and worth a good deal less, so it is worth two seconds to check.
Where to sell a Galaxy Tab S9 Plus comes down to who will price a worn one honestly instead of quoting a perfect one and marking it down on arrival. We tell you what we find. Sell your used Galaxy Tab S9 Plus here, cracked or clean, and shipping is free both ways.

HOW IT WORKS
Choose 256GB or 512GB, WiFi or WiFi + Cellular, and the condition you can defend. Run the speaker and camera checks first if the tablet has ever been wet. The S Pen should be in your hand while you pick. Your Buyback price then holds for 14 days.
A prepaid USPS label lands in your inbox. Sign out of your Samsung account, sign out of your Google account, pull the microSD card, then erase the tablet. The S Pen travels with it. The keyboard cover and the case do not.
We check it by hand within 48 hours of arrival and tell you what we found either way. Where it matches your description, the money goes the same day by gift card, PayPal, bank transfer or check. Every device gets a Department of Defense grade wipe, bought or recycled.

GALAXY TAB S9 PLUS BUYBACK QUESTIONS
A 512GB WiFi tablet in Good condition is $256, and that is where a well kept one usually lands. The same tablet in Fair condition is $154. A 256GB in Good condition is $231. Quote yours at the top of the page for the exact number.
Yes, and what it is worth depends entirely on what still works. We do not have a water damage grade. We grade the result: if everything works and the glass is fine, it grades on wear like any other tablet, and if something has stopped working it is Faulty. Run the checks before you quote. Four speakers, one at a time. The rear camera glass under a bright light, looking for mist behind it. A voice memo recorded and played back. A charger plugged in. Water usually announces itself in the speakers and the camera first, and often weeks after the swim rather than the same day.
No, and this is worth being clear about. IP68 was measured on a sealed new tablet in clean fresh water, at up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Your Tab S9 Plus has aged since then, seals harden and shrink, and a drop on a corner can break the seal without leaving a mark you would notice. Salt water, chlorinated pool water and hot soapy water were never part of the test. The rating is a good sign, not a guarantee, and it does not change how we grade.
The tablet grades Faulty, straight to the bottom row. It is the harshest single rule we apply to a Galaxy Tab and it exists because the S Pen came in the box rather than being sold separately, so a tablet without one is incomplete. A used or replacement S Pen for this model is fine, it only has to write. Before you accept the loss, check the magnetic strip along the back where it sits, and check the pocket of the keyboard cover if you have one.
Yes. Cracks and chips anywhere, front, back or camera glass, mean Faulty, and Faulty is $46 at 256GB or $51 at 512GB on WiFi. Say it is cracked when you quote and the number will not change on arrival. Pack it well so a crack does not become a shattered panel between your door and ours.
It does. The Tab S9 Plus panel is AMOLED, so an image left on screen for months can wear itself in, and burn-in is Faulty. Check it in a dim room with the brightness up, on a plain white full screen image, looking along the top edge for the status icons and along the bottom for the navigation bar. A tint that shifts as you tilt the tablet is not burn-in. Neither is a single dead pixel, though a dead pixel is its own problem. If your screen turns out to be an LCD rather than an AMOLED, you have the Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus instead, and burn-in cannot happen to that one at all.
There is no battery rule on Samsung tablets here. No percentage to hit, no menu to check, nothing to screenshot. A battery only touches the grade by failing completely, and a failed part of any kind means Faulty. If your Tab S9 Plus still runs a working day off the charger, it is not a factor and you can forget about it.
It does, at every grade and both capacities. A 512GB in Good condition is $280 with cellular against $256 on WiFi. Cellular models bring one extra requirement, a clean IMEI, because a 5G tablet has an IMEI and a WiFi tablet has none at all. Anything reported lost or stolen or blocked by a carrier fails at that check. What does not apply is carrier locking, which does not exist on a Galaxy Tab, so no network is worth more than another.
Two accounts. The Samsung account and the Google account. Then a factory reset in Settings, General management, Reset.
Skip either sign out and the tablet locks itself when we boot it, which stops us testing it and stops us buying it. Google FRP and a tripped Knox counter give the same result. This is one of the few things only you can do, and it takes two minutes. Instructions live on our erase your device page. On arrival we run a Department of Defense grade wipe of our own as well.
They do not. The Book Cover Keyboard, cases, covers and chargers are not priced into the quote, so they cannot raise your payment and they can easily go astray. Keep them or sell them on their own. The S Pen is the only accessory that has to be in the box.
Heavy wear you can feel, with the glass unbroken. Scratches your fingernail drops into, dents along the aluminum frame, scuffs you notice across the room. Above it, Average is wear you can see but not feel, Good is light wear that vanishes at arm's length, and Flawless has no marks at all. Below it, Faulty covers every crack and chip, burn-in, a missing S Pen and any part that no longer works. Judge it cold, the way somebody buying it from you would.
Not as a payment, no. Without power we cannot test it, and we cannot clear your data from it, so we will not put a price on it. Free recycling is the offer instead: post it on our label, we destroy the data to Department of Defense standards and dispose of the tablet properly. Prefer to keep it? We will send it back and that costs you nothing either.
No on both counts. A tablet under an installment plan or a lease is under a financial obligation, and we do not purchase devices under financial obligations. Blacklisted, reported lost or stolen, blocked by a carrier, or still tied to somebody's Samsung or Google account are all refusals at every grade. Clear the balance or clear the block first and it becomes an ordinary quote.
Look at what each one actually gives you. Carrier offers are bill credit, released monthly over a two or three year contract, and normally conditional on a new line or an upgrade. Ours is $231 in cash for a 256GB in Good condition, sent the day your tablet clears inspection, with no plan attached. If theirs is genuinely bigger and you are staying with them anyway, take it.
Capacity, WiFi or cellular, condition. About a minute, and the number is yours for 14 days.
