Yes. The five cameras on this phone work as one camera, so a dead sensor is a broken feature rather than a missing extra. Open the camera app, take a photo in good light, and look at it. If the phone throws an error, refuses to focus, or the picture comes out with a strange dark band, something in the array has failed and the grade is Faulty. That is still a price, not a refusal.
Depends which one you mean. The in-display reader on the Nokia 9 was slow from day one, and slow is not a fault, it is just how the phone is. If it reads your finger eventually, that is normal and the grade is unaffected. If it never reads your finger at all, or the phone no longer offers fingerprint unlock in Settings, that is a functionality issue and the phone grades Faulty.

Yes, because it is an OLED. Put a white image on the screen, turn the brightness up, and look for a faint shadow of the status bar across the top or the navigation buttons across the bottom. If a ghost image is sitting in the panel, that is burn-in, and burn-in is Faulty. Ten seconds, and it saves a disagreement later.
Flawless is a phone with no marks at all. Good is wear you cannot see at arm's length. Average is wear you can see but cannot feel. Fair is wear you can feel with a fingernail, with nothing cracked. Faulty covers cracks, chips, burn-in and anything on the phone that has stopped working. Judge with your fingernail rather than your eye, because eyes are generous.
No. No percentage, no battery health screen, nothing to look up. Android phones are not graded on a battery figure here. If the battery has actually failed, meaning it will not hold a charge or the phone dies well before the end of the day, that is a functionality issue and the grade is Faulty. Anything short of that does not affect the price.
Not on this one. The Nokia 9 PureView shipped in a single 128GB version and there is no microSD slot, so there is nothing to choose. Anyone offering you a 256GB Nokia 9 has something else.
Unlikely. The Nokia 9 PureView sold in small numbers and never went out through the big US carriers as a headline phone, so most carrier lists do not have it at all.
